C63 WOW...

Just picked one up yesterday because we are expecting a child and needed another four door sedan. We had sold the E63 for a Mini Cooper because we were commuting 3k miles a month and needed something better on gas Anyways, we just couldn't find another nice E63 for a reasonable price and the color combo we wanted. I found this C63(colors we wanted) for a great deal and couldnt pass it up after I drove it. All I can say is WOW. What a great car all around. Not missing the E63 at all anymore This really is a fantastic car. Just my opinion, but I think this is one of the best cars MB has ever made. The fit and finish is perfect in everyway and this is coming from someone who didn't want another C class Power is obviously great, seats are the best seats ever(and I spend alot of time in race seats), and just overall feel is amazing. Now to avoid modding temptation Anyways, just thought I'd share how happy I was to be back in a nice AMG.

Right now its my favorite, nice combo of power, size and handling. It could be better in some areas but as a whole, and that's how I view cars, its an awesome package.

Congrats!

Get the ECU tune!

You will be absolutely amazed! I had a 2006 modded E55 (TB, Shorty headers, and VRP intercooler.) and I have hardly missed the E55. You really can toss this puppy around and it's a blast to drive versus the larger E class.

Do it, do it!!!

Congrats! On both!! I just celebrated my boy's 12 months (06.09.2008) And also I bought a new car seat (switched from rear facing to front facing) I was considering Recaro but the side walls didn't give him much space to look around (he loves to look around and discover new stuff) and play with his "rear seated mommy " So, I got maxi cosi (Prior) (the one I had before was also Maxi Cosi (Mico), I had adapters for my stroller (bugaboo), I could just take him out of the car in his seat, while he is asleep and place him on the stroller, without taking him out of the seat) And it was a great feature! What model of Recaro did you get?

Thanks. Well I havent picked anything up just yet. I am kind of superstitous and afraid to jinx myself I am also a little confused on what to buy. I know most strollers now have a travel system where you do exactly as you said. That seems easiest. But I guess at some point you'll need to switch over anyways. I am looking at the Recaro Signo. Its good for 5-35 and then forward facing 20-70#. Lots of information its hard to digest. Thanks for pointing out the side arms on the Recaro. That is definitely something to consider...
