Any info on 2010 prices?

hello all,

I think everyone who is interested is generally aware of 2010 MY changes. However, I still have not heard from my dealer regarding actual pricing of the car nor the options. I have a car on order for 7/10 build date. Has anyone have any concrete info regarding prices?

Thanks in advance

I wonder how the start-stop tech on the 2010 will affect how the car drives. I'll be interested to hear the feedback on that.

Had a nice train ride to "Stuttgart" today. Factory was closed, but I did visit the MB Museum and to the dealership next door to it. I spoke with Hans-Guenther Spark. Pleasant chap, but he did not have any info on the 2010s

The only intel was that the official launch is 28-Aug-2009. All in all it was a good trip. I almost ordered a C63, but I will wait until I get back to the states, and get a pre-owned one. Sorry that I could not provide better intel

Doesn't production start this month on the w204? maybe not the C63, but I think the other models start. I am surprised he didn't have info.

I "Too" was surprised that he did not have anymore info He did not know that MB does not discount the AMG series until he opened -up a computer program and saw MSRP for all AMG models.

He ran some 09 numbers and was telling me about the 10% discount and some other discounts that I would receive based on being in the military. I just let him talk, because I knew that MB does not discount AMGs.

If I was in the market for a C350, I could save about 8K fully loaded based on the numbers that a commander here got when she purchased her car, plus no sales tax

If you are stationed or TDY (on orders) in Germany with a mil ID then you get a discount of 10% on a C63 AMG.You can also figure thatthe MY 2010 models will be about 3% more than the MY 2009.

According to the "Spread Sheet" that the sales person had, there are no discounts on any AMG models.

I am just passing through from Iraq. I was due to leave there the first week in July, but my gallbladder flared-up and I had to get a lap chole. I should be back in the States pretty soon.

Believe me in Germany for us is a 10% discount on the AMG C63 @ Torpedo Garage military sales, just Google it and go to "build your own".

The problem is that if you don't station or TDY to Germany, you can't get that 10%. Believe me, I tried.

C63
I ordered mine a couple months back. Jeanette at Torpedo told me I can't pick it up until 28 Aug. She said the price list should be out soon. My guess from all the hoopla is next month. It has to be out by early August because the check from my bank has to be to the office by Aug 12th. Hopefully they won't change the engine (direct injection or not). I'll try and post some pics of the factory when I pick it up on 28-29 August.

How do you know that?

They may not discount the list price but they will offer very competitive financing e.g. I was thinking about an Audi TTRS but the Mercedes lease cost came out cheaper even though the Merc is €15,000 more expensive.
