It's going to be a little tight (especially for long trips). The narrow seats and big bolsters can become a bit uncomfortable if you have a larger frame.

I am the same height and broad shouldered - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the seats - I am not, shall we say, of extra poundage (workout fiend and have a 46 inch chest and 33 waist, so....)

The seats aren't TOO tight, they tend to wear after about a month or so.

Im 6,1 and 220 Pounds, I loved the C63 however after being given a demo for 2 days I couldn't wait to get out of it.

the bolsters at the side of your torso are fine its the pressure across your Shoulders that over anything more than a 30 minute trip are hard to live with.

I decided not to buy and wait for the E63 to be released. It's an awesome car but unless its comfortable I would have hated it in a few months.

As for the comparison between the C63 and EVO X seats, the X seats are much broader in the back part however slightly tighter on the base. Japan changes the back portion for Markets outside of Japan.

A shame about the seats.

Good Luck

I'm 6'00" and 215 pounds. Not to mention having endured 2 spinal fusion surgeries;L3-S1. My last surgery was in March this year only 2 weeks after buying the car. All in all, the seats are PERFECT. With the lumbar and side bolster adjustments, finding a comfortable position is easy. I couldn't be happier-I had a 2007 Lexus IS350 and a 1999 Porsche 996 and the C63AMG is far more comfortable.

I am 6"1 175 lbs and it fits perfect, however if I was a bit bigger it would become an issue.

6'4" and 265lbs, seats fit great up front, a year later the center cushions have compressed and now the bolsters are pronounced. Car is in the shop this week for other stuff, I asked them to redo the padding (my dealer works with a fantastic upholstery shop). I asked them to add additional foam to the center so that it de-pronounces the bolsters and he also mentioned that many people were complaining about the crap factory pad - we'll see. I'll report back.

Thanks,
Tom

i think the shoulders are alright, cause the main concern will be the waist, because the design of the backetseats...but havnt you seat inside a c63 and try it before you make a purchase?

I would sit in it before I bought it otherwise maybe replace the seats with some aftermarkets.

I made a comment to the sales person that "If you were a big guy the seats would be to small"

Im not a small guy but im not a "Fat" guy. I think fat guys would have a hard time. Im 6' 200lbs. I workout and I think my back is a 48. A the max the seat will go out Im slightly squeezed. My waist is a 34 and has plenty of room.

After riding in the car for 14 hours, with the performance package, these seats are heaven. Would of, could of, should of. Oh, we did. Sorry.

Well guys - been a couple of weeks with the modded seats. What world of difference.

The shop widened the back bolsters by modding the wing metal, removed the lower leg bolster metal wings so that only firm foam is supporting them, allowing them to compress and replaced all center foam with high quality stuff that feels like clouds. Am glad I spent the money!
