Window Tint, How dark?
So, I'm picking up my new c63 on Friday and am going to ge the windows tinted. FL law allows the following:
Front Side WindowsMust allow more than 28% of light in.Back Side WindowsMust allow more than 15% of light in.Rear WindowMust allow more than 15% of light in.
Palladium Silver is the lightest color car I've ever owned, so I'm looking for pics or recommendations for how dark to go (with my black charger I just went as dark as possible). I would like to stay as close to the law as possible, as I don't need any extra reasons to get pulled over.
So how dark should I go? And will it look silly to go 85% dark in the back and 70% dark in the front?
Thanks for the help.
Edward

There is no such thing as 85 and 70 percent tint (normally). It's just too light to make a difference. Even 45-50% tint is almost like having no tint. You need to get at least 15-20% to make the car look good. Minimum 35% but 15-20 is much better. I'll post pics of my car later, I just got tint now.

I think it's all preference.
What I did was 65% front and 75% rear. I think this looked really good. I have a Palladium Silver too as well. However, CA law states that tinting on the front windows is prohibited, so that's why I went lighter on the front. I figured with my screen out the light coming from it won't seem as dark. Hope that helps.

go 5% side windows. 50% windshield.. HAVE A NICE DAY
dont worry what FL state law allows. I have this exact setup on my GTR, and on my E92 in NY- where the laws ban tint at alll
looks to clean for me to stay away!
plus when i get pulled over for speeding- after showing off my shiny PBA cars, the officer will usually settle meeting me halfway with just a $ fine being a tint ticket, or something of the sought
rather than a speeding ticket
cause I can use a speeding ticket like I can use a hole in my head.

I have 35%/30% on my smart and 35% is a good comprimise IMO, it's not too dark during the day (for fear of getting pulled over), but you can't see in at night

I had my tint guy peel off the 35 I had on the fronts yesterday and re-tint with 5%. So now I have 5% all around. It looks ridiculously sick plus it keeps my car so much cooler inside. It's easier on your eyes as well while your driving. I love it!!

I love my 20% tint (20% of the light makes it though). I have it on my ML55, RS4, S4 and C63. Its the perfect tint for me even in cloudy Seattle
