2008 Mercedes GL450
"Of course, I also like Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Aston Martin, Maserati, and a few others. I'm not a big American car fan...Ford, GM and Chrysler vehicles are not my favorites, but I do respect a select few of them like the 'Vette, Caddy CTS-V, etc. Sorry, the Jeep SRT-8 is not one of them; neither are any of the other SRT-8's. While I had my tuned BMW 335i, I ran with 3 SRT-8's (Charger SRT-8, 300C SRT-8, and a Jeep SRT-8) and WALKED every one. Actually, the closest race I had with one was with the Charger SRT-8 from a stop light...0 to ~ 100mph, and we were bumper to bumper until I hit 3rd gear (at like 70mph)...then I pulled...by the time we shut it down at ~ 100mph, I was ~ 3 CLs ahead. 
So much for their 425HP; their massive weight and bad aerodynamics do not help them."
Funny,you don't like racing on the street but then post you raced from a stop light. I'm sorry but you sound like a stuck up, think you are better than everybody else because you drive a Mercedes A$$hole! Get over yourself and wake up that maybe a lot of these guys that have these Jeeps could afford the oh so mighty Mercedes but choose to have something different. I am so happy that you and your brother have the holy grail of cars and love bragging about them but you just end up sounding like a *****!

Junior you ran some very impressive and consistant times with your srt 8 but your car is really heavily moded.
512all wheel drive whp = over 600 crank hp!! plus awesome all wheel drive launch i am not suprised about your quater mile times. This car will definitely give a stock C63 a good run to 200 after that C63 will pull away slowly for sure.

btw -- if you really do drive the GL450, how do you like it?
We love our GL450 (got > 25k mi. on it now), although my wife wishes it has easier 3rd row seating access like the R-class has. And, no, I am not a stuck-up whatever you said; I just like nice cars!

Traded the Cayenne yesterday for an 09 GL450 couldn't wait any longer will post up pics later, this damn thing is fun to drive TONS of torque.

I just hate seeing someone talk trash about a car/Jeep that is very capable and if it is such a "POS" like you say, race him. Who cares if it is modded, not every race is stock to stock but you don't see those guys crying when and if they get beat.

That guys wasn't racing you or didn't continue to race you. There is NO WAY you pulled on a SL63 like he was standing still from a 60MPH in a 5K pound 11.7 second truck.
I was down at the OBI today. Im still breaking in the C63 so it wasnt to race, but some vette guys I know said you were there. Ill try again next week.
Your times are very nice though. The traps are a bit slow and your 60 should be better for an AWD. But still very respectible. You should have sunk all that money into CAR and you would be doing 10's.

If you doubt my story you can ask the owner himself he was parked by the porto johns, his copilot was laughing his *** off, he was manager of security dodge back in the late 60's. They were a little past middle age Italian guys, alot of fun and good sports. You dont understand that this is not a 11.7 second on the street. It pulls like a mother, but I guess you'll have to find out for yourself. I'm there 8:15 every Sunday.

Hmmm... I dont know dude. 11.7 full a full car lead and you smoked him like he was a 16 second car. I know your car is fast but that dude must have been in 6th gear in comfort mode or something.
I guess im over estimating the SL63. I thought it ran a high 11 stock. If it only runs a 12.5 then the C63 with an K1 can beat it. Granted your truck is a beast. Im not trying to take that away from you or put MB ego in front of it. I thought the SL63 was an 11.9 car. If its only a 12.5 DAMN what a waste of money. Id get a C6 vette and drop a supercharger in it and eat your SRT8 for breakfest.
Either way, I wanna see this beast on sunday. The vette guys said it was cool. Id like to see you run the Red C6.
