-Observation, not personal but I agree I should have omitted that part. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
There are lots of people who either don't know or have forgotten about the former Daimler-Chrysler partnership. -Look for "DCX" labels under the hood of [almost] any 2000-2007 MB.
There's plenty of MB technology in Jeep and other Chrysler vehicles. To wit: The (present and upcoming) Grand Cherokee is based from the ML platform. While the 300c is based off of the E-class; all of which are inclusive of MBs transmissions, engines and other features.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
-Propain: Do you have a link for the head-to-head you mentioned?

OK, we'll add Jeep SRT8 to both lists with the above caveat![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

Stock for Stock - please. Once modded the game completely changes for many obvious reasons.
So, it may be too soon to tell. But the new XFR looks like a competitor.
Propain - how on earth did you sell your CTS-V??? No one wants mine... not even the dealer ![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)

It's pointless to argue with sflgator he probably spent the entire night researching information on the SRT8 Jeep so he could come back here and pump his chest in what he believes was a "ONE UP" on us that he was too tired in the morning to iron his Juicy Coutoure shorts and polish his white alligator print point shoes. I'm sure by now he has all of dragtimes and C&D info on the Jeep saved in his MY FAVORITES so he can quickly access the information to show how superior he believes he is. I on the other hand have REAL WORLD experiences on things I post not what some magazine or internet article says!! So because a handful of C&D employees favored the TBSS over the SRT8Jeep that speaks for the entire world-LOL you must favor socialism like it can't happen soon enough. This whole thing about trap speed makes me laugh do you realize its not just trap speed you take into consideration but weight as well, trap speed is directly related to power to weight ratio If you have less weight, your trap speed will be higher a 3600lb CL63 is going to trap higher then a 5000lb srt8 Jeep, even if they make the same hp. How quick it is depends on how you can get the thing to launch. Put a 2.76 gear in something an you won't ET but you will MPH like a ****!
For example lets take a tuned only C63 time vs a tune only Jeep time and break it down to how much Crank HP there is per Pound:
Jeep: 12.58 @ 105 + 5120 weight=489 flywheel HP=10.4 hp per pound
C63 AMG: 12.89 @ 111 + 3600 weight=358 flywheel HP = 10.05 hp per pound
Now I have asked twice now for sflgator to put up or shut up so when and where lets get this settled if you dont answer go stick to your BWM 335 forums with the rest of the kiddos.

4. I already posted up my 12.8sec. @ 110.52mph (with a best trap of 111.22mph) timeslip from Dec., '08 from when I ran my BMW PROcede tuned 335i. I have not run my brand new '09 MB C63 AMG yet which I just bought 1 1/2 weeks ago, you douche.
![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
5. As others have already said, they have already run 4.1-4.3 sec. 0-60mph in their C63 AMG's and in the low-mid 12's @ 114+mph in the 1/4 mi. And, yes, some C63 AMG timeslips aqre on DragTimes.com. So, I would say it would be safe to think that I should run similar times in C63 AMG as well; I will find out for sure when I go to the track later this year when the weather cools off. I really don't care to go to the track during the summer down here.
6. I'm not really sure why you continue to instigate an argument with me or anyone else on this MERCEDES-BENZ FORUM???

I do not need to prove anything to you or anyone else; I have worked (and continue to work) very hard to drive whichever car I want. I live my life for my wife and kids; it appears you currently live your life only for yourself (as you seem like you're a young and immature kid).

Yo 1QWKJEEP, watcha lookin' fo? 1/4 mile, Long Stretch of Freeway, Mile Markers and Back, 0-60FT, A Few Twisties???? Be precise when calling someone out. Some of these would be obvious kills so be very, very careful.
Since your car is an honorary member of the "Cars You Will" list... it will likely require an attractive incentive. What are you thinking? If this is going to be a race for "pride" or "manhood"... probably not gonna happen. However, perhaps $$, a pink slip, your buddy's house... or something of value will make it worth SFLGATOR's time.
Speaking of that... SFLGATOR, what would it take to get you in game? I know you have nothing to prove but you are in a great position to call the shots and even get rewarded in the process... let us know what you need.
I'll happily be the Wayne Brady of the first episode of Bricks vs. Benzes.
LET'S MAKE A DEAL!!

First off, this guy with the jeep is acting like a total douche. I love SRT8 Jeeps as much as any enthusiast, but any C63 with the basic mods will absolutely rape a jeep...unless it's highly modified of course.
Sflgator is a really cool guy, I've been chatting with him on M3Post about his sick new ride. Us bmw guys aren't douchebags and most of the e9x m3 owners have respect for our fellow brethren with AMG beasts.
I'd love to see the outcome if Sflgator and this jeep dude had a nice little gathering.., with vids of course, to embarrass this smack talking guy

Of course, I also like Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Aston Martin, Maserati, and a few others. I'm not a big American car fan...Ford, GM and Chrysler vehicles are not my favorites, but I do respect a select few of them like the 'Vette, Caddy CTS-V, etc. Sorry, the Jeep SRT-8 is not one of them; neither are any of the other SRT-8's. While I had my tuned BMW 335i, I ran with 3 SRT-8's (Charger SRT-8, 300C SRT-8, and a Jeep SRT-8) and WALKED every one. Actually, the closest race I had with one was with the Charger SRT-8 from a stop light...0 to ~ 100mph, and we were bumper to bumper until I hit 3rd gear (at like 70mph)...then I pulled...by the time we shut it down at ~ 100mph, I was ~ 3 CLs ahead.

I have to admit that I've had my sights on a new or low-mileage 2010 Nissan GT-R, but with the recent MB mfgr-dealer incentive and great deals to be had with an '09 MB C63 AMG, I just couldn't pass it up...so here I am and so far, I'm enjoying every second I'm in my C63 AMG!!!!
![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Yes, I really loved my BMW 335i, especially since I had it tuned with the PROcede v3 piggyback; it made that already quick $50k F/I tt coupe into a real BEAST with ~ 410BHP (~ 350-360RWHP) and ~ 420 lb-ft TQ (~ 360 lb-ft RWTQ). I had it dyno'd once it went from 265WHP/286 lb-ft RWTQ base to 322WHP/378 lb-ft RWTQ, but that was the first version of the piggyback; subsequent improvements in revisions increased the WHP, but lowered the TQ. My best 1/4mi. run at the track (PBIR) with my tuned 335i was 12.8 sec. @ 110.52mph (with my best trap of 111.22mph that night)...all on 93 octane and street tires. I also clocked that car running a best 4.3 sec. from 0-60mph. All not too shabby, imho.

I now know why the C63 AMG is so much better than my previous BMW 335i...in so many ways. It does lack a few high-tech things that the Bimemr has, but oh well...it's a trade-off. Anyhow, I'm glad to be here on this Forum conversing with all of you, and I want to learn and talk more about our C63 AMG's and other cars. I am a very proud new owner/driver of the MB C63 AMG (as well as our awesome GL450 SUV...it's the best!

btw -- I'm not too keen on road races with kids (as this "Jeep dude" would like); not a good idea, imho but I'm always up for going to the track for fun "guys night out." My buddies (they drive a GT-R, Viper, tuned BMW 335i's, M3's, MB AMG's, Audi's, etc.) and I usually go a few times/yr. (sorry, kids, unlike you teenie-boppers, some of us "older" guys actually have families and don't have time to go to the track every other weekend

Thanks man; appreciate your kind words and support. Yes, as I've said before, I am a car enthusiast...I like many cars, some of which I've driven/owned, and some I have not. I may be dating myself here, but oh well
...in my 20++++ years of driving, I've driven Nissan, Honda, Lexus, Infiniti, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz -- none of which I could say I disliked.
My brother currently owns and drives a 2010 Nissan GT-R, 2007 Lotus Elise (w/ NOS and an intake), a very old but very fast modded (w/ upgraded turbos and such) Dodge Stealth twin turbo, and an '08 Mercedes-Benz S550. My other brother has driven many BMW's and Mercedes-Benz cars; currently, he drives a BMW 760iL. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
So much for their 425HP; their massive weight and bad aerodynamics do not help them.
That's one reason I bought the C63 AMG.
Yes, I believe the C63 AMG is a tad faster than my tuned BMW 335i, not by my butt dyno but based on how fast I've run my PROcede v3 335i at the track and what the C63 AMG's typically run. But, yes...beware the BMW 335i's b/c they may be tuned and put up some very challenging runs. My 335i only had the piggyback (and I had a dual cone intake for a while, but put the oem stock intake back on since I didn't think it did a whole lot above that extremely hot engine), but other 335i's are also modded with DPs, exhaust, better intakes, etc. Some of the highly modded 335i's are pushing 400WHP/400 lb-ft RWTQ on a 3,600lb. car. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Either way, the C63 AMG is just a superior car in so many ways...comfort, handling, power, the navi system (and integrated MultiMedia system in general w/ much better speech recognition...although BMW announced major improvements for '10), and of course the sounds that eminate from the 6.2L V8 engine + quad AMG exhaust!!!

Turbo cars are definitely fun to mod and worth while opponents to a C63.
I had a moded 09 sti with a pole position bucket and it was a blast to drive. Every shift is exciting and i was always looking forward to corners. However i came across a point when i either have to throw another 10k on proper engine mod to make some good power or just upgrade to a nicer car thats why i end up picking up a C63.
Evo is fast as hell for not much money but the 2.0 is just too small to play with. After all theres no replacement for displacement.

First of all I LOVE YOUR RED CAR, i tried to get one but dealer had no red in stock and if i custom order arrival would have been November so no luck...
and you definitely don't need traffic info in Florida,

Its only useful if you live in a really crowded city.

More details please? How does this work, what's the price and what's the monthly charge? I do need this sometimes when I drive to Los Angeles and I don't want to stare at my iPhone while driving.
