Modded Evosport C63 AMG vs Audi S4 Stage 3........
here is my buddys run today vs modded C63 AMG
C63 has following mods (correct me if i'm wrong)
Powerchip ECU
Evosport Pulley
Evosport Airbox
Evosport LT Headers
Evosport Full 3" Exhaust/Catless
S4 has folowing mods:
K04 Turbos with AWE/GIAC Fueling
AWE DP's and Exhaust

I see the video noted the evosport C63 has 470 whp - has evosport released a dyno chart for this car yet? AFAIK every time it's been asked about, it's mentioned to be posted "soon" or "ASAP" but I don't recall seeing it... this goes back as much as four months ago. Maybe I missed it?

Thanks for the video but I don't know what is going on. Did the S4 completely annhilate the c63? How did the c63 then manage to pull on the S4 later?
btw I don't think 470 whp for that car is accurate. That would mean the car has ~570 bhp.

The Audi makes about 420-430 AWHP.....the Benz making 465-470ish rwhp is prob about right. With those supporting mods....you can prob get 100 bhp or slightly more. Stock C63 is rated at 451? Very attainable #'s imho

Wow I just saw that same S4 vs the Z06 video. Even with all those mods the Z06 completely annihilates it. Wow, I had no idea Z06 was that fast. That means even with all the performance mods the C63 can't even hang with a Z06. I didn't know a stock C63 would lose that bad (much worse than the S4) to a Z06.

BoneDocS4 and I have ran C6 Z06s before and pulled them by about 2 cars (from 30-40 mph up to 150 mph pulls). So it goes both ways....this Z06 seems like it is particularly strong

properly driver C6 Z06' are very fast. Just to give you an idea.....Z06's in Bonestock form have trapped anywhere from 114 MPH to 129 MPH. Now if u take 114 MPH....that would be slightly faster (say 4-5 cars) than a C63. At 129 though....it is Mupltiple Buslengths. Really depends on the driver, how strong the Z06 is (not all are equal, just like all cars), and also the conditions (Altitude, Gas, Atmosphere, etc).

Isn't the trap speed of a stock C63 close to 114 mph? How would it be losing so badly (4-5 cars) at that speed?

think about it....Z06 is rated at 505 HP (most Dyno 450-460 rwhp) so they are more like 530 HP bone stock and weight less than 3200 lbs (not to mention manual tranny and incredible gearing). C63 has 451 HP and weighs what....3800 im guessing? as well as an Auto tranny? That pretty much is your outcome. A Stock C63 has ZERO chance vs a stock C6 Z06

because 114 mph is with basically with a tool driving a Z06......horrible launch, slow shifting, and perhaps even bad conditions (higher altitude abd such) basically....poorly driven Z06 will hit 114 mph whereas 114 MPH trap is what a C63 would hit with good launch and decent/good conditions.

Yea, I know the C63 has no chance against a Z06, I already acknowledged this fact, but I was just wondering how a 114 mph trap speed Z06 (poorly launched) would be 5 car lenghts ahead of a 114 mph trap speed C63.

guess i should of clarified......from a 50 or 60 to 130 MPH pull (using the 60-130 standard)....a Z06 with below average driver to average driver would put 5+ cars on a C63 easily. A Z06 with a good to excellent driver would put a much greater distance (prob 10+ cars) on a 50-130 pull.

I know the S4 is very fast, so I was impressed with the C63 keeping up. This wagon would pull hard on any stock 63, seems the mods for the 63 are finally starting to work?

You guys might find this interesting/surprising or maybe not stock C6 Z06's have ran in the 10's stock. Here's a few vids from our Mexico runs of the C6 Z06 owner with his old Supercharged C5 Z06 and now his C6 Z06. The 1st vid is with his 600whp Supercharged C5 Z06, he does slightly pull on the Modded 996tt, but not by a lot. The second and third vids are the same Modded 996TT vs. his C6 Z06, WOW is all I can say, and that modded 996tt is very fast as you can see in the other vids he has on youtube.
