mars red or artic white? i need help!
i was supposed to get a white with carbon trim and black interior but the dealership said it has already been sold so now i am having this situation again. should i switch to red or stay with white?? is there only the macarbon carbon fiber package or is there anywhere i can get it cheaper? i hate the brown wood that the red one would come with...

i would hunt a white one down. dont settle for your second choice when we are talking this much money.. just my opinion. cant help you on the carbon deal. i prefer the carbon too but i can live with the wood. im just not big on the alum. trim.

Do you absolutely have to have the CF trim? Have you seen the "black" maple wood trim? I have it and find it to be quite sporty but classy at the same time...totally unlike all the other MB maple wood trim, imho. Just a thought if you can't find the ext. color you want w/ the CF trim; I think the getting the ext. color you really want is more important than the int. trim, imho. G/L.

The E Class comes in black maple which is different (and nice looking, imho)
I'd go for your exterior color choice as 1st priority. You could always get a CF or whatever you want aftermarket install later. Painting the car would be a bit trickier
I really like Mars Red but I'm too chickensh*t to ever own one.

I own a Mars Red C63 and think it was a great decision. I think Arctic White looks great as well. But for me, Mars Red has a lot more personality which is what the C63 is all about. I've never gotten a ticket despite the color and have received tons of compliments. Either way really, you can't go wrong though.

I personally think the C63 looks best in red, but it seems everyone is afraid to buy it in red so they go with the safe colors like black, silver and the most played out color, white. I just feel like it looks more sporty in red. I'm trying to push my brother into getting a red/beige C63.

thats hot. the first C55 i looked at was mars red, but the guy wouldnt budge on the price, so i ended up with white. i thought i was going to regret it, but its actually easier to clean than any other car ive owned....no scratches or swirls show at all

this is so hot...i went to see black yesterday and i loved that too. i have no idea what to do. i think red is the nicest by far but its also very extreme. and black looks so much more aggressive than white.

I don't like red for this car, maybe if it was a Ferrari..I just don't think that the red color matches the styling, but again, that's just me..
For me it came down to the 040 black or the steel gray. I went with the 040 black, even though it's going to be tough to keep clean, because it's simply stunning when it is clean..

I haven't seen the red, but I have seen the 040 black at a dealership. If you look at one next to a obsidian black, you'll really notice the difference. The metallic black almost appears hazy, even though it's clean. It's a nice black, but when you look at the 040 black, there's no comparison. The 040 black has a deep almost ink black look, more classic Mercedes and much better IMHO. Some will say it's a PITA to keep clean, avoid swirl marks, etc., and they're right. But if you really like to detail your cars anyhow, then it won't matter, and you'll appreciate the deep black.
