Have you ever heard of VRP's ECU upgrade?
They sell it for $1,500 and they come to your place to upgrade it in your driveway. Interesting proposition but I've never heard of VRP before.

VRP.....its been around for a while. they are a sponsor on this forum. i think the guy to contact in charge of VRP is vrus (he is usually in the W211 AMG forum).

To the OP - AFAIK, you'd probably be the first on MBW to pursue VRP's tuning for a M156 tune. If it were me, I'd probably go with Kleemann for several reasons, not the least of which is that it's the same dough... but if you do go VRP, please dyno pre- and post-tune and share the results.
