It suits America more then Europe

Go pick up an E63 wagon....

While you're at it get a Mercedes bicycle, too.

Actually not very expensive when compared to really good Italian bikes......

Thanks for you those smart-*** comments here

I was more wondering if anyone got done hidden custom made hitch with bike rack on it. This is the only safe option I think. Roof racks are OK, but after I saw couple of times cars going to underground garages with bikes still on the roof I am not going that way.

Maybe one of the tow mount cycle carriers? Free standing, no straps or anything to connect to the car.

I race road bikes and have been struggling with this...

You can pop the rear seats in the trunk, fold them down, remove both your front and rear wheels via quick release, put the frame inside there and the wheels will sit around the frame, but it's not convenient.

I've done it a lot, but when I go for training rides or races, I try to take my wife's car...

I have not researched a roof rack or rear rack yet... If there was one that could come on and off easy and not damage the paint, I'd consider it.

I just fold the seats down and put it in. You can fit two road bikes in that way if you arrange carefully.

I also race bikes and just pop the front wheel off and drop the seats - I have a 61 cm frame and even that size it is fine.

I used to race as well I never liked bike racks, I was too afraid to get my bike damage or stolen and used to place my bike upside down on the back seat of my VW with the wheels removed. I had a Colnago frame with Shimano Dura Ace gruppo and Cinelli pista handlebars, Fun sport.
