A piece of advice if you were to touch the air boxes - let the engine cool down. I burned one hand even though I was wearing vinyl gloves.
Also, when I was taking out the stock airboxes something fell out of the right stock airbox down the engine compartment. I tried to find whatever it was, but couldn't. I think it is still laying at the bottom of the engine compartment. Is it safe to leave it there? I checked all the clips and screws, but everything seems to be in place. What could it be? A rock from the road? But how would it get in there?

Somebody said earlier they are around $500 if you order through a stealer. I am not sure if those are complete with the bottoms and filters, or just the tops.
I got mine from Germany... I have an extra set in Classifieds if you need one. One if the members asked me to get him a pair and then changed his mind.

Here is a picture of the ROW vs US air box. That plastic cross-section in the US version really seems to be out of place in there as if the box was not originally designed to house charcoals, but then that cross-section and the lattice were squeezed in last minute blocking 1/3 of the funnel.

i did the ROWs and weistec filters on my 2011. bought em new for $600 from ACG. pretty much the same price everywhere.. you might be able to get em for 50-100 bucks less if you're patient
no CELs, super easy. it was far easier than the sidemarker swap, just get a star screw driver set do you don't strip the screws.
