Tire Dressing!!!
Can someone please tell me what tire dressing slings the least.
I am constantly wiping off sling and I've tried about 4 different brands, always waiting at least 2-3 hours before driving, they say 15 minutes. My doors and fenders are loaded with that s!@t and its a real b!@#h to remove.
Anything out there that stays on once you put it on ?

I have tried them all but the one that really prevents the Slinging and keeps the dressing on the tires is "Turtle Wax Wet'n Black" Ultra Wet Tire Shine!
I does not even put one drop on the side of your car after applying and keeps the black shine for a reasonable time.
Give it a try and drop me a PM to confirm your satisfaction with this product!

I do not care for the shiny finish, so I use "Black Magic Titanium Matte Tire Finish" which states on the bottle "no-sling guaranteed." I use it with a shaped tire dressing sponge, then lightly wipe down with a face cloth...it stays perfect for a few weeks through frequent car washes.

The best way to keep "sling" down is driving with every single drivers aid available, ESP, Comfort mode This car has so much torque that just a little throttle will spray the side of my car entirely and buddy beside me.

Using Swissvax Pneu with foam applicator pad. Matte finish with no slings. Don't need to oversaturate the tire. Just a little will go a long way towards protecting and restoring color.

armor all extreme shine (orange bottle) slings like a ****. i applied it with the sponge and it slung the next day..... the day after that... and the day after that. the next time i applied it i only used about two drops per tire and it still slung that day. and i let it sit on the tires for about 4 hours before i even drove the thing. problem is this bottle is going to last me like 12 months. i might just use it on a beater and try the turtle wax stuff.

Best off the shelf tire dressing ive used (and ive used a TON) is meguiars high endurance.
Lasts a long time (both on the tire and in the bottle meaning a little goes a long way) and doesnt look greasy/nasty. Also protects the tires from turning brown whereas many cheap products promote it.

I tried armor extreme shine too and had the same results!

thanks Phil! i will take that under advisement! i love the turtle wax stuff in the spray bottle on higher profile tires like SUV and (gasp) crown vic tires. the spray bottle just wont work on these little rubbers we have. it gets everywhere.
i will purchase some next time Im at wally world.
