hahahhhaa i knew this was coming. 
not for nothing i would like to see the video of that 55 doing that run, it fast.
from what i know the fastest e55 with no nos is 11.05 at 124.9 im sure if this what you saing is ture would be on this forum no? can i have the link? i dont seem to find it. or a video or something to make me belive this.

i posted the video look at the post before urs .. i have e55 that is heavily modded and know what our cars run . the c63 can be fast i have respect for the car but it just cant compete with the tq we have and we can do so much more in mods 63's are just limited but who knows down the road

thats all i ask for b/c i know Nate holds the record for non boost. i guess he still does. they have to run that car in the winter in M.I.R

and trust me it wont take long before the 63 go into the high ten's

not that it matters but several e55's will do 10's off n2o in coming months, weeks, or maybe even days if they can get out to the track.

once ur car gets to where its running mid to low 11's it takes alot to gain a tenth or 2 . alan in the video u saw will run 10's easy without NOS . its all on his car getting out of the hole better , his car has the power to get 10.8 or better . until the 63 comes out with something incredible its not gonna beat the 55

the e55 has been out since, 2003 and NO ONE has hit 10's yet.(off nos) i bet you anything that a c63 will hit 10's this winter.

i know its a leap, but i also know that a c63 with headers and tune and airbox is right there. time will tell and i hope we get alot of good winter days with no snow and rain so we can prove ourselfs.

yes, the platform has been out since '03 but nobody had stepped up with "real" performance parts until last year and it wasn't until this year that custom tuning became available so that we can even get the most out of those parts.

Ok we will see. As soon as someone talks about the 63 getting in 10's every 55 owner jumps. Relax everyone wants the samething to be fast and have fun. You guys take it to personal.

So N/A the quickest 63 ran an 11.3 if I remember correctly and thats with some weight reduction. It's a big jump from 11.3 to 10.99, I'm not saying it cant be done and I actually hope it does happen.

besides jrcart has anyone else ever run 11.3's in a 63? and even with an 11.3 he couldn't even run 10's with n2o at the event i was at...so yes, that is a BIG jump!

The 11.3 was an isolated incident. I believe the more consistent (and repeatable) result for a 63 without NOS is 11.44 to 11.47. Before the C63s came into play, these numbers have been achieved by 3 different CLK63 BS all with Evosport mods. It will be a very hard jump from 11.4 to 10.9 for any 63.
Also, notice that no E63 has gone quicker or faster than 11.9 @ 118 (oldgixxer's stock run at ATCO a couple of years back). The 63 engine needs a lighter car to shine....

Ok I'm a little confused with your write up. I think your saying that you pulled on the CLS55.
The CLS55 with all those mods was beaten by a C63 with just tune and headers. I don't know why or how that happened because a heavily modded 55k engine should have easily beaten a C63 with just tune and headers.
I raced a member here with the MHP tune only and he beats my stock E55 by only 1 car length. I do not think the CLS is running properly. He must be having some kind of issues.

well, you can check mine from 60 - 320km and i didn't floor it till the end, about 80% pressing the padel. and it wasn't high modified + a tune.
