C63 vs CLS55 Kleeman K4 30-190 mph rolls
the race one was from my 2nd gear. on 2-3 gear a pull to about 2 car bodies, on my 4th he gets closer to me to about 1 car body, on the end of 4th-5-6 gear a pull away to about 3-4-5 car bodies to 190mph.
then we turn around and go again, the second run if he is not staying and cooling for at LEASt an hour, he looses like 12-15 crar bodies. it is not even funny. his 2-3 runs he is not going ANyWHere at all. I just walk away from him to a big distance.
both cars are on 93 octane same fuel.

The CLS55 with all those mods was beaten by a C63 with just tune and headers. I don't know why or how that happened because a heavily modded 55k engine should have easily beaten a C63 with just tune and headers.
I raced a member here with the MHP tune only and he beats my stock E55 by only 1 car length. I do not think the CLS is running properly. He must be having some kind of issues.

And the only reason I beat u by a car is bc I have a headers tune with no headers that makes 400rw. If I were t have the original v3 that's good for 435+ I would of walked u by alot of cars.
And don't for get after we only raced up to 120-130. The more high speed they going the more and more the 6.2 and 7speed is goingto pull away.

There is a weight advantage, tranny advantage, along with a huge power increase with the MHP L/T headers and tune for the C63. This has been my experience so take it for what its worth. The S/C'd 55 engine can be extremely powerful and will take a stock or slightly modified C63 for a ride(trust me I been killed by one many times). However, when the C63 has been modified to that extent we now have a weight vs power advantage and tranny advantage. My friend has a VERY STRONG highly modified E55 that runs low 11's in the 1/4 mile in good weather. There are video's on line if you want to see them. With my new upgrades we are very close in performance. The disadvantage to the E55 motor is heat soak. On a long run to 190(which IS obtainable because I've been there) the E55 motor will build heat and begin to lose power when run that hard that long. Because the weight and tranny advantage the C63 will take the E55 from a dig but the E55 will catch the C63 at around 120 until probably 150 or so and then heat takes over, weight takes over, and gearing runs out and the C63 will walk away. These are extremely modified cars running high speeds so be careful! Thats my explanation. Hope you understand it.

What are the exact mods that you have? I want the performance of you car. Is the MHP ecu/tcu and long tube headers only thing you have?
I have most of the available bolts on's you can get. Nothing has been done internally to the engine. I've got the C/F air box, MHP thermostat, MHP thermal intake gaskets, MHP L/T Headers and MHP tune. Thats all the power mods I have. Good luck and be safe racing, especially at those speeds.
FYI - E55AMGGG04 - my car pulled 360rwhp stock and now pulls 470rwhp. I've been racing for 25 years and thats an incredible increase the the slight number of mods and for the engine to be kept closed.
If it were not my car on the same dyno you could not convince me it was true. Its definitely a different animal now.

As many people told here already this is true. this K4 was in a perfect shape. it dynoed one day before the race and it made acording to the owner 650crank HP. no idea what it was whp. the person on k4 could not believe it either. We raced like 8 times. you see, when he cools like 1 hour, he goes fast, BUt if we turn around on highway and go one more time, he is going a little worth, next rubn even worth and so on. his engine heats up and the Charged air (cause it is FI) has same boost as usual but the hotter the air is there are less air on the same boost level and less air means less power. Also the OLD 5speed gearbox all FI MB has is much worth then our 7speed. Sorry for my english I hope you understand me. I got the video from those runs. run one was when he was complettely cold. we went from 30mph to 190mph. first i pulled 1-2 bodies on him as you can see, then he catches up on about 120mph(when i shift from 4-5, guess the engine is out of power band at that moment) or so and then I pull away from him like 3-4 bodies. here is the video:

Something is not correct here.
Edit: Just noticed it is a CLS55...so the weight is probably around 400 lbs different.

You were saying that you started from 30 mph but in the video you say 60 kmph that is like 37 mph, I do not know if it makes a difference, just noticed that.
Next time wear your seat belt

not for nothing i would like to see the video of that 55 doing that run, it fast.
from what i know the fastest e55 with no nos is 11.05 at 124.9 im sure if this what you saying is true it would be on this forum no? can i have the link? i dont seem to find it. or a video or something to make me belive this.
