I don't think it's the weight, it's the DCT tranny and the 30+whp from the bolt ons, cleary with the additional 60whp from the PC tune, I am now in trouble, lol.

Thanks man. He's now tuned, lol, got it done yesterday, he made 340whp stock, and then 400whp with the powerchip tune, this was done on a the heartbreaker Dyno Dynamics, as most of you know this dyno reads lower than the standard Dynojet, but the gains are there.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

You're right. Edmunds weighed their test cars and the M3 was 3686 and the C63 was 3993. I've seen some variance but that's a typical weight gap. 307 pounds.

Well DLSJ5 you did also removed your back seats which clearly makes the weight gap between your particular M3 and a C63 even greater. Your car is definitely pretty quick and I'm not surprised of the particular results. The 7G transmission in the C63 is its akilis heel. I would wonder what the results would b if the C63 had the MCT in it. Obviously I am aware that DCT is much better then MCT but I wonder how close the gap would be bridged.

I am actually surprised that the M3 pulled on the C63 this hard with just some basic mods. Those modes probably just added about 20HP? It's pretty hard to get power from a NA motor, especially a highly tuned M motor like the M3.

Wow...I'm surprised at how far the M3 pulled just w/ those mods listed. That's quite a bump in performance. I do believe for example a K2 package on the C63 would pull on the M3, but I'm second guessing by what margin.

Is the driver of the C63 on this board? I'm curious what his settings were when this race began. I got a feeling he was driving in manual mode which in this case would been a big "no-no". Not to say DLS wouldn't have won, but one of the runs you see the C63 jump a head and then all of a sudden its like something happen and the C63 just was passed instantly. It seems like he tried shifting and either had jumped 2 gears, or let off the gas paddle shifted and by the time he got the next gear it was over with every shift being even worse. Again shows the superiority of the M DCT.

The owner is on 6speed.
He was in "sport mode" auto shifting at redline. He may have jumped initally in the 1st run because I wasn't high up in the rev range, and he's got much more TQ than me, the 2nd run he got a better start than me, plus I was loosing traction initially, but not too much. He did lose a little traction in the last run, but I did let off for a second as well.
I'm lighter, have the DCT and I am modded, now that he's modded the outcome is gonna change!
