Merc63,
The header install was very easy. After the stock manifolds and other components are removed, they installed in just minutes. The fit is fantastic and performance is incredible. I am running the MHP tune and recommend you doing the same. If you are stepping up and getting the L/T's then get the tune to match. You won't be sorry!

search the forums for MHP, there is some interesting reading to be done before you make your purchase.

Merc63,
You can search the forums all day long but you won't find a better quality set of headers on the market today bar none. The fit is great and the performance gains are unbelievable. There are two sets here in the Central Florida area and both sets have performed beyond our expectations.

I know there has been some bashing of MHP on this forum before but having dealt with Andy recently he's done everything he promised and then some. The long tubes are excellent headers for this car. Good luck with your purchase.

What needs to be removed on top to get to the top exhaust manifold nuts? Do you remove the intake manifolds to expose the exhaust manifold? I see book time is 2.4 hours per side.

well then theres at least two happy customers. having been here since MHP came and went, i wouldnt exactly call their ecu/tcu tune fallout, a "bashing". what ever happened to his "throttle blipping downshifts" for the CLK BS that he promised he could deliver? now maybe their headers are a different story, but ive seen first hand the way he handled posting here, and his interaction with "potential" customers, and i can tell you that there are many people that would never deal with them. im glad youre happy Dads, but their are many who are not.

I have the MHP long tubes paired with a Kleemann tune. Power increased significantly over the K2 setup which was already way above stock numbers. Dad's car is still stronger than mine according to the dyno which supports the MHP tune as being a little more aggressive than Kleemann. I don't get caught up in the drama regarding MHP and only share what I experience first hand.
