Hi you guys,thought it was about time i posted a msg on this forum,13 weeks since i placed a deposit and put my order in for a AMG 63 (they certainly make you wait here in the UK)can you believe it 13 weeks ! The big day is about to come (good job i've had u guys on this forum to keep me interested)
Will want to run her in quick so i can shred those rear tyres !
The big question is being a Porsche fanatic (still own 2) 07 GT3RS and 89 930 Turbo.Will the 63 turn me into a AMG nutter ? Time will tell roll on tomorrow, will keep you posted.

Absolutely mind blowing
5 days into ownership of my first MB c63 and loving every minute of it, Just want to look,touch and drive it constantly,(An AMG fan now, thats for sure!) Been a porsche fan for 2o+ years but hey guys think i,ve been missing out on something (German engineering at its best!) Maybe not a two seater sports car but hey now i can give 2 rear passengers brown socks too! Going out now to shoot some pics to post to you guys and put a few more running in miles on her.

C63 AMG
I think you will like the torque on the C63. Unlike the GT3 RS which you have to rev it much to get it going the C63 AMG mid range torque is crushing. What part of the UK are you located?, Are you close to Cambridge?, I use to service my 911 C4 cabriolet at the Cambridge Posche dealer. Are you aware of the 5 star Porsche program(it applies for Porsches over 5 years old). Your 89 930 is the flat nose right? because the foloowing year they started the 911 (965) turbo, I had the 911(964).

yes sure like that torque on the 63,very laid back car to drive,Sore point with the RS, at the dealership now, yes you guessed the RMS leaking, car will be 2 years old on tuesday so just got in with warranty claim.100 k car with an oil leak ! Might just splash out on extendard warranty.The old 930 turbo started life as impact bumper type and i had it updated body wise to turbo 2 with genuine porsche parts,lowered 45mm,RUF 9,10 ins wheels,RUF intercooler,larger turbo,964 cams,and has got read out at 420 BHP.What you might call an, Air cooled face distorter!!!!!!!! Any way being new to this forum,don,t want to step out of line talking about porkys,still lots of excitement going on at the mo with this mercedes!

Wow!!! That sure is a long wait! But hey you are gonna be like a dog with two tails come wednesday, (had that feeling myself now for a week! ) The car of your dreams is about to arrive and i can assure you the wait will have been worth it,owning and driving a beast like this is what life,s all about!
