Tire Rub Issue
#26
Here they are, sorry for the delay but the car came back filthy from the track weekend and I wasn't about to take pics that way. The Dunlops performed incredibly well and on the oem wheels they fit fine with no rubbing. The cornering grip is very impressive, the rears would slide a little but with esp sport mode on there was no real drama and the car would simply align itself and hammer straight ahead. There were not any cars that I met in our group that could shake me in the corners and I had a great view of an S2000 1 car length in front of me do a 180 while I was still glued. Watching him eye to eye as he slid backwards of the track while my sled went by was priceless.

Just mounted these Dunlop Dirreza Z1's 265/35 and 245/40 on AMG wheels from a 2005 E55. I have 275/35 on the original wheels and have zero issues with tire rub. But this combination of tires and wheels which are supposed to be a track set rub slightly with 2 in the car and constantly with 4 people inside. Any thoughts?
You could also cease to make sasquash logistics around town...hahaha!! J/k! (I don't even know you!)
cheers

The issue is with the offset and these wheels are not of any use for this car. The heavy load jokes were pretty funny especially since they came from the member who sold me the wheels thinking that they would work. Hope it is just as funny when it comes to buying them back.

Watch it Vinny! You didn't think I'd read the C63 Posts?

sorry to bring an old thread back..
so the rear e55 wheels will fit on the back of the c63 but they stick out a bit...
someone above mentioned shaving the back pad a few mm to have it fit better...
i was thinking of using just the rears for drag radials since i have a friend with some e55 wheels he isn't using...
so is this possible?
