C63 in 0-60 Magazine's 2009 Shootout
Shootout consisted of:
09 BMW 135i
09 Corvette Z06 (GT1 Champ edition)
09 Porsche 911 C4s
08 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X MR
09 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
09 Nissan 370z
09 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.
7 staffers compared a different range of cars under $100,000 to find out which was the best overall car. Cars were judged on pricing, power to weight ratio, 0-60 time, fuel economy, practicality, handling, styling, comfort/fit/finish, and lap times.
After all the data was compiled the c63 came out on top.

2015 Z06 with Z07 Performance Package
A C63 beat a Z06!??? Was the driver blind-folded?? I have driven both, and I can tell you that a C63 is no where near as fast in any way shape or form than a Z06 and way behind in fuel economy. Please supply link, I gotta read this!

No online link to actual article, I have the hardcopy. Corvette was fastest around Beaverun track, c63 was 2nd, Porsche, 3rd.
As I mentioned above, many factors decided the outcome of best OVERALL car but in the end it always comes down to opinions I suppose.

Why wasn't the E90/92 M3 considered? If we're talking generally under 100k, we can throw in the E63, M5, M6, and the CTS-V as well. I'd think all of the cars I just mentioned would be more relevant than some of the cars tested.
