New datalogging software for C63 with navi screen
Hi guys, been working on this, as something we ALL need. If you have a navi screen, this will be a nice trick item to have. We're still working out a few things, but here is the prototype that we are working with a base unit from Magden, it's a hardware, and software combination.
We are also working on a AMG themed gauge layout skin.

Right now, we're in the *refinement stage*, and I agree a G Meter would be very nice, only thing is we could not do that without major expense in tooling, so for now we're going to leave that one alone. As far as the W210, not at the moment, but this is a possible "next up", but that has yet to be determined, we want to be 100% on the C63 first, then we will decide which next model to address.

We anticipate a target of $1300 + -, but once the smoke clears and we do our cost analysis we will know better, and can give a firm price. As far as installation, we are going to put together a Youtube video that will walk you through the whole thing, including the set up and basic knowledge base on how to use it.

I am confused. In the video, you say that this would be used for tuning the car. Is there user tunable software out for the C63? Outside of cool gauges and extra information, what would be the purpose for a private user?
Are you guy planning on also selling software that would allow someone to tune the C63?

This is strictly for datalogging, and gauge information. Why is this important? Many factors as to why. Knock, A/F ratio, ignition timing events, etc etc, this will be the *truth teller*, it will allow you to record the data on a USB drive, then upload it to your PC, then visually diesect the data, for example you will see what your car is running timing wise at say X given load value vs y rpm, etc etc, it will be invaluable to those who really want and need to keep tabs on their cars. This will also allow you to figure out based on this data, if your car has something odd in the tuning, or fuel you are using, all things that to me(and most of you) will prove to be priceless.
