2009 C63 AMG / 2007 BMW 130i M Sport
Then again, I bought the car for the expansive engine, not the expansive interior.
While talking about RS4... I'd say that the most fair comparison would be with that one, not with the S4.

WOW!
You guys have got to be kidding. 333HP for a well equipped car around $60k CDN.
I payed just a little more and got my C63. Screw the interior, of which, MB is not that bad.
See how important your interior is when you have everything from ricers to americans kicking your *** for $20k less.
Can't believe you guys are even comparing the 2 cars - not even in the same class.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
The best thing about VAG vehicles is their forced induction engines and the tuning potential. They also seem to fit a comfortably as your favorite jeans the instant you get in.

just got home with my new toy, the 2010 Audi S4. what can i say? personally i think MB interior designer should go back to school again. the new 2010 s4 is a piece of art, nice all around car even though it is not as powerful as my c63; however, i bet most people here will fall in love with its interior and sound.
Congrats, What's amazing is that the car also gets 18 city 27 highway for a 333hp, 325ft-lbs at 2900rpm(better than the 4.0L screamer in the M3, although it does have a great engine) SC V6 performance car. Yes not as fast as the C63 and M3 but with that kind of efficiency and more than usable powerband, i bet daily driving it is great and won't even kill the pocket on fuel. I bet aftermarket such as ecu tunes that allow more boost to be run will wake it up even more.

here are some iphone pics first. i totally agree these 2 cars cant be compared with each other, and no one actually did. just saying in general, new audi S4, as far as my taste, it looks good. and interior does matter especially when im not listening the sound from C63, a nice sound system is more than welcome. now my c63 can rest well in winter.

The Nappa leather Audi uses is just a little different from the Nappa leather Mercedes uses on the C63. I'm not saying one's better than the other, but take hold of the steering wheel on each car one immediately after the other and the difference becomes obvious.
Personally, I think that combo is absolutely perfect: a C63 for the spring/summer/fall, and an S4 for the winter.

thanks. i think it will be a great winter car and a nice DD. cant wait for some ECU tuning.
Actually, I wasn't referring to the softness of the leather which, if you ask me, I believe is actually softer in the Mercedes. For me, the main difference comes in the grippiness of it. The Audi's leather just feels a bit grippier than the Mercedes' leather.
Anyway, congratulations on the new purchase.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Grats on the car. Its pretty sharp. The interior looks well built but I must point out..
Black and Red leather two tone on a white car?? Hideous in my opinion. Maybe its your camera blowing out the red and making it look more red than it is but it just doesnt go at all on that car. Way to ricer looking...

at first i want black ext with black and red inter. however, the black ext i can only find with full black inter, or black with white. i dont like the black with white. so i end up with this. plus thats the only car around my place with LSD. the LSD makes the driving whole different story. anyway, i will put 20% tints on this weekend.

Not to get too far off topic, but anyone know when the A6/S6 is scheduled for a facelift to put its exterior in line with the new design (A4/S4 & S5)?
Typo's fixed.

Beautiful car - love the new '10 S4. Other than 8 years of technological advancements, it's a similar engine and approach to what AMG did with the C32.
Those that are talking about a "tune" and what it'll do for this vehicle - a tune alone won't get much on a S/C'd vehicle; to meaningfully increase the output, it will require an aftermarket pulley kit to overdrive the supercharger and raise the boost. My guess is that many Audi tuners will have these "stage 1" pulley + tune kits before long... MTM already has several advertised, IIRC.

As with previous S4's, I believe I saw that Audi's dropping the same engine in the A6.
