add a new toy in the garage
just got home with my new toy, the 2010 Audi S4. what can i say? personally i think MB interior designer should go back to school again. the new 2010 s4 is a piece of art, nice all around car even though it is not as powerful as my c63; however, i bet most people here will fall in love with its interior and sound.

the outside look of the new s4 is just ok. not aggressive enough i think. inside. hmm i like them all. maybe later i will go down to take some interior pics with lights on. but now i need to raid in WOW. LOL

im too tired, but im sure i will get some pics, either later tonight or tmr. the car doesnt have much discount, only 1500 off msrp. got prestige package with the LSD and DSG 7 speed, also with audi drive select package (similar to M3 EDC). Bang & Olufsen® Premium Sound System. white ext, black&red inter.

i actually went into audi yesterday. My brother and I were looking at a white 2010 s4 cause he wanted to trade in his 08 tl type s. Once I sat in the car i was like holy **** it feels good. The interior is amazing. id say the only down to the car is the back, i hate the tail lights, but other than that mean *** car

That was the car I was going to get but the dealer offered me $43000 trade-in on my $77790 MSRP 08 C6 Z06 plus they were not giving me any disccounts at all, the excuse was that the 2010 was too new.
Anyways, keep us posted, I know I like that car, I wanted one but unfortunately they did not offere me enough on my trade in and they offeeed me no disccounts otherwise I would have had a 2010 silver loaded S4 in my garage right now.
Gas mileage was ecxcellent, something like 19/28mpg right?

By that logic, no one would ever buy an Audi, since you have to own one before you can appreciate one. Come on, we're better than that. There are lots of things to like about other makes of cars.

finally Audi's price is competitive again well at least up here in canada.
If i were in the market for a car that price range it would definitely be a manual S4 now

I payed just a little more and got my C63. Screw the interior, of which, MB is not that bad.
See how important your interior is when you have everything from ricers to americans kicking your *** for $20k less.
Can't believe you guys are even comparing the 2 cars - not even in the same class.

- timing - Initial pricing in my area will likely be near $60k otd for a loaded S4; got my C63 for $57 otd
- exterior of the S4 is not agressive enough for me, beautiful, but a little "slender" -- love the lights, and the full LEDs on the rear lights are also nice. Also no difference in look b/w an S-line A4 and the S4, even the wheels are not different.
- I for one don't think the interior is that far above the MB's. Living near VW/Audi headquarters, I've been up close to a couple of S4's already. Steering wheel, seats are equivocal, but I agree the dash/clusters/nav favor the Audi.
- Can't really compare the engines -- the MB's V8 will bludgeon anything, but the Audi's is the new wave of efficient, powerful engine. Now if a B8 RS4 comes to America, that's when things will get interesting...
