I get zero interest in my C63. i thing it's because these back woods hicks don't know what it is. I would trade for a Z01 corvette but i need the people space of my 63. does anyone else have this problem?

...I get looks everywhere I go in my C63. Thumbs up, snapped necks, "what is that?"...I get it all. Maybe because mines shiny all the time?
Get a Delorean or something dude everyone will stare. Attention is fun, but certainly wouldnt make me select one car over another...

Aside from the fact that Im perplexed why you would buy a car due to its attention factor...

What do you expect living so close to "LA"? I've lived in Pensacola, so I know how you feel. In a grocery parking lot recently, I started my car and the guy walking past stopped in his tracks..he asked if I had a V-10 under the hood!

Actually dude, to the guys point above about the CLS63 - I had a CLS550 loaner and that car got looks everywhere. CLS63 is a great recommendation.
BTW props to the dude driving the Camry hybrid, good for you, if I didnt have such an addiction to fast flashy cars Id be rolling in a Smart car for real.

Here in SoCal I probably get 200% more attention than I expected and fully two-thirds of that is unwanted...I did envision a fairly anonymous ownership experience but have been blindsided by the "recognition factor."

Personally, I think it is a great looking car albeit underpowered coming from a C63 (or my E55 and definitely my SL65). I was about to say the R8 but he mentioned space for more people...I just went to the RS4/RS6 as an extension of a great looking car with more than 2 seats.
I know it maybe my personal bias and other folks won't think it flashy enough but I always notice one...maybe its just me.

Sorry, but I don't get it. Why do you want complete strangers to pay attention to you? It just a car.
Around this neck of the woods we try to avoid attention.
p.s, you'd trade your C63 for a Vette just so people will take notice of you? WTF? Live your life for yourself, not for what other people might think. Plus they actually don't give a sh*t about you anyway.

It was a financial move, and for the price of the car brand new from factory, I couldnt pass it up. It doesn't hurt the wallet either when i fill up $35 every 3 weeks.
But dont worry, I will have another car soon that will hurt the environment.

when i had my slk55 i got a lot of good positive attention and questions about the car. I just expect that from a car i paid almost 70K for. I don't have to worry about carjackers or bums around here so the occasional M3 guy revving next to me or just a thumbs up would be nice. i love this car it would be nice to have the recognition.

Hybrid Camry is a great effing car. I'm planning to get one (or something like it) as a daily driver when I get my 458 italia. you should too if you plan on buying something more exotic than a c63.
btw why do you care whether you get looks from hicks? only thing they'll look at are ugly hot rods, monster trucks, etc.

Own a car to drive for yourself and not to boost your ego.......

i love the low profile of the c63. the only people that ever say anything are the ones that really know the car which is very few. but for attention this oughta do it.
