Door Handle Color
It was brought to my attention that the door handles on my flat black car is metallic black (sparkles in the sun). Would one of you with a flat black also check your door handles to see if they are the same.
I bought the car new from the dealer lot so just wanted to make sure nothing fishy went on. Thanks guys.

Jet black cars get metallic black door handles because that's the area of the car that gets "handled" most frequently. Every hairline scratch would show on the jet black paint if that was indeed what they used on the door handles.
So...metallic black door handles is what we get.

Personally, I HATE the Obsidian handles and plates on my car. The difference in color between the blacks is so easy to see. The whole reasoning behind it is retarded...I think most of use can polish/wax that area just fine. Had I known about it beforehand I might have held out for my other top color choice (Palladium silver). Is there another manufacturer that does this?
