Finally got my tune today. I'm very happy with the results. The only thing that i wish i had done was get the beast dyno'd before the tune but i'm going to make an appt. for one in the next few days. What a f***** animal this car has been transformed into! I may have put about 50 miles on the tune so far but the difference is incredible! I'll try and put the other 100 or so miles on this thing soon. Been driving it kind of hard so that the ECU adapts that way. The lag seems to be gone and the acceleration is staggering and was told it is just going to keep getting faster & faster. Jags is a very nice guy & I want to thank him for a job well done!

I drove a little today but I had my little boy with me so couldn't get too crazy. But it does feel strong above 4K rpm power band with quicker shifting @ about 80 miles now... I'll be doing a final burn in when I head out to AC tomorrow / sunday coming back Monday morning and going strieght in for a Dyno, if anyone is available for the NY to AC run let me know, we'll meet somewhere off the GS Pkwy south...

No I didn't get the filters because I didn't know he had them but he told me that if I wanted them, he'd send them to me. I hope to receive them this week.

I went to the Crazy horse in NJ, I may go to another Dyno shop because on 2of the 4 pulls it displayed spikes which the dyno operator stated it was my car causing the sharp spikes which hit 450 HP rwhp... I've been comparing dyno sheets from other ppl and the MPH speed on mine was 175 mph (I was told 4th gear every pull? I don't know if that was true, dyno file show's 175 mph) I noticed on other ppl dyno sheets average 135 mph, which I think is inline with 4th gear...
My 2 pulls DynoJet SAE smoothing 5 averaged 417 HP 420 TQ w/out counting the spiked runs. I'm now thinking if the Dyno mode Not being on the car had something to with spikes??? I didn't have it turned on
I had it in M with ESP off.... I may go for another Dyno somewhere closer to me.
From my base gains HP +65 TQ 73lbs These figures do Not include the 450 spike runs. The numbers seem to be ok but *** backward
I think I need to do another dyno with dyno mode on............

I doubt it was the fact you weren't in dyno mode. The dyno operator needs to know what they're doing. You can get a dyno to read just about anything if you don't set it up properly. I used a Mustang AWD dyno(no dyno mode) with no issues, 362whp stock. Try somebody else first..

dlbello - the hp looks about right for a "tune-only" car, but the tq is huge. Can you post the graphs? Also, did they get an AFR readout while you were on the dyno?

I am happy I waited and didnt just jump on the Kleeman bandwagon... Although I hear great reviews about the Kleeman tune, the numbers speak for themselves... I am def going to purchase this soon asap.

[QUOTE=c32AMG-DTM;3803877]The problem is, if he goes somewhere else, it won't really give him data that's very useful - since it would be a different dyno from the baseline pulls. My $0.02 - dlbello is doing it the right way, just a shame that he didn't get a series of consistent, repeatable pulls post-tune.

Here you go, I just found out from crazy horse the dyno was run was in 5th gear, is this right? He said that the AMG cars need to run 5th 1:1 ratio
thats why its @ 175 MPH.
Now I'm trying to figure out the spikes on the dyno graph, I didn't average/post out the larger spiked graphs 450 rwhp because I thought they invalid runs ... could it be because the car wasn't set in dyno mode???
Im running WINPEP 7 how do I set or display AFR? and what is it for anyway?
TIA

After thinking things through, I decided to go back to crazy horse where I first base dyno'd the car. Yesterday when I went in for the Singh tune Dyno, I left scratching my head and *** for a while
I think the spikes and erratic TQ #'s and HP pulls were all invalid because "Dyno Mode" was Not set to on, looks like ESP even though it was in ESP sport or off was still causing problems during each and every pull ![action](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/action1.gif)

Dyno Mode on or in ESP OFF (Same thing) , Not Sport, confirm AC and all climate controls are OFF.
Did they do the stock pull in 4th or 5Th gear?? Most consistent pulls seem to be in 4th but to get the comparison your after you need to repeat the conditions and setting from the original pulls...No??
Hope this helps....

I agree with sticking with Crazy Horse. You need to duplicate what you did on the stock pulls.

Thanks for posting the graphs. You're correct that the spikes are incorrect/invalid readings. Looks like your tune makes ~410 rwhp and ~370 rwtq.
In WinPEP7 - I find the easiest way is to leave the graphs alone that you already created, and add a second smaller graph at the bottom (click on the "show 2 graphs" button in the toolbar, upper left - then resize them so you have the top one almost as large as it is now, and a smaller one below). If your operator captured Air/Fuel ratio readings from a tailpipe sniffer (wideband O2 sensor probe), you can then display the AFR readings in the additional graph. It would probably start around 14:1, and hopefully drops down below 13:1 and stays there in the higher rpms.
Hope that helps.

According to Cory @ Kleemann, pulls should be done in fourth gear. He sent me a K1 pull done in 5th with 444 whp (going by memory) which he stated is incorrect and thus he would not post.

Looking at your graph looks like you got whats expected from the tune, what we're your baseline TQ numbers if you dont mind me asking?
Numbers look just about the same as a K1 that was done here in California.
