CEL came on last night
Last night, I decided to go out for a good long drive, as the temperature was around 5 degree celsius(41 F), the car was pulling very strong and I was just grinning as my 23 month old boy does when he watches his Elmo TV shows, anyway, in my drive I raced a Challenger SRT8 which BTW was a fun race until I actually hooked up and vaulted by the guy, then as we parted ways, the friggin CEL light came on, the car felt fine and still drove normally. So this morning I called my dealer and they told me to come in right away, as I drove this morning, the car pulled perfectly normal, only I noticed, on the down shifts or when lifting off the throttle, I had more than usual pops, crackles etc, the car sounded crazy, I actually loved it......anyway, on their computer, it showed I was running lean in a few of the cylinder banks and the code showed as "replace the intake manifold gaskets". I have never heard anyone on this forum who had this problem, nothing serious but something they must correct, so the service manager is going to look into it further on monday and order whatever he needs to.....now I know why the car sounded so tough, I was running lean.

All I have is the BMC Filters and the charcoals are removed, but the guys didnt think that was the problem.

weird seems a few people that are taking the charcoals off are reporting issues like this.

No, nothing yet, mind yo I havent been persistent with them as the light hasnt come back on and I have only driven the car once since last week. I will dig for info on Monday.

Could it be the cooler weather? I wonder if this is an issue? I run VRP filters and removed the charcoal ones too. No issues in DC and the weather has been in the 40s before. i have one of the early 2008s, picked up in May

I should of gave an update in regards to what happened, my apologies. Long story short. First CEL, dealer did nothing. Second one was calling out lean mixture because I had a leak being caused from one of the intake hoses. They replaced all the hoses. The third CEL was the result of the dealer not connecting my temp sensor by the firewall resulting in a CEL once you go over 3K RPM. Car is running normal and I have certified it fit for flight.

Well, over the weekend the friggin CEL came on again, so this morning I took it to the dealer...he asked me if I noticed anything different and honestly the only thing I noticed is the much louder cracking and popping on downshifts, kind of nice, I loved it as people at the bus stops were diving for shelter as I downshifted, anyway, the car again was running to lean is what the computer spit out, they just reset it and off I went again, they are all baffled as to why this happened again.
