C63 Headlight and Eyelid
I just changed headlight to 6000k and eyelid part to white color. I did not like the 2 different color if you look from the front so now with this change the car looks very nice and mean looking. I bought this from iJDM TOY.com. Theirs are good fit and no error so I like it. Im in Japan but they worked very nice with me. Thank you!

I always shake my head at people with 10,000K or 12,000K "HIDs" that are purple and bleeds everywhere because you'd get better and SAFER lighting with stock halogens. But 6000k is tolerable.

What kind of LED's are you using? lol LED's are not supposed to produce any heat at all really. And Idk where you guys are getting your led's from but if you get a good pair, they should last a really long time. LED's are not supposed to burn out. One thing i noticed with Mercedes and LED's, when the LED's are burning out its because most mercedes produce a current of 13.5 DCV and most LED's are only rated at 12.5 DCV. After a while, the LED's would either burn out or start to flicker and malfunction. Idk if the C63 is at 13.5 or not but its good to check with a Multimeter. So if your going to buy led's, make sure you check that out.

Yes LED don't produce heat, but the resistor do, i touch it once and it nearly burn my finger.
All new Mercedes have computer which check all the light bulb in the car, if it detect any one of the light have a lower than normal voltage load it will gives you an error say the light bulb is out and ask you to replace it.
LED run at a lower voltage load the resistor is there to increase the voltage load to fool the computer so no error code will appear.

one of my LED:
you're right it's the resistors that burnt out. Either way, when they burn out, it will leave a brown mark on your eyelid.

what about the so called OEM LED's that come in the C63 in Japan? There was a thread about them, with actual MB part numbers. something like $200 a set.. anyone try those?
