Hi, I know this has been discussed in the forums, but I want to confirm. I definitely do have the 030 Perf. Package specified on my window sticker for $3990 and have a 2009 C63 AMG. I also definitely do not have the alcantera steering wheel.

My question is about the brakes and whether or not I have the PP brakes? I attached a pic of my front and rear brakes? Can anyone tell me if I have the PP brakes, my inclination is that I dont. Does anyone have a pic of what the PP brakes do look like? And lastly, do the PP brakes change the dimensions for a custom built wheel compared to the non PP brakes?

I have a 2010 C63 with p30. I can tell you that your breaks appear similar to what I have. I am pretty sure you have the correct breaks. I am curious though, why you do not have the Alcantara steering wheel, it comes with the package? In any case, if you have questions, I would most definitely be talking to my dealer.

You do not have PP030 brakes.

The fronts are 2 piece.

Yea I would be calling the sales manager at the dealership you bought this car from if I were you... Chances are you don't have the limited slip diff or the other goodies that come with the package either.

Yea, I just contacted my service advisor at the dealership. Most likely I was one of those customers who got screwed on the 2009 PP and got charged for a full PP and instead got PP lite (just lsd and speed delimiter, no wheel, brakes or suspension). At least thats the sense I get from reading the archives here, also, I must have LSD cause I had the LSD fluid flushed @ 2000mi and the invoice indicates it was done.

Hopefully I can a reimbursement or retro fit....

I've never heard of PP lite. As far as I know, you can't order LSD separately, because it comes as a factory package, it's not dealer installed. You either get everything, or nothing.

Other than the diff fluid change, are you SURE you got the LSD? I think someone's messing with ya.

put the car in neutral raise both the rear wheels. move one wheel with your hand if the other wheel moves in the same direction you have LSD if the other wheel moves in the opposite direction you don't have LSD. I would do this just for the peace of mind.

Not sure about 2009 but as of MY 2010 you can spec LSD separately from the PP. At least in Europe.

If I recall correctly, the first half of the PP030 had missing components while the 2nd half of it had the full package. As far as reimbursement goes I don't remember if the dealer would reimburse you or not for the missing components. But it doesn't hurt to call them and ask for it.

I think this was a restriction for Canadian models only since I asked my dealer too. Heard of plenty of people in the US that had the standalone lsd option.

Now they offer it as stand alone but I'll the AMG lsd and go with OS gilken which is supposively much better (but more expensive).

I am still wondering if on the new P031 Package (Performance PLUS Package) if the LSD is now stand-alone or included. Details were sketchy?? Apparently the 30 package is now gone? Anyone know??

The 030 package is gone and no longer available. The new 031 package (available with December production) does NOT include the LSD -- you have to order it separately (code 471, for $2,000).

I dont know about it but I heard that PP roter as slit with holes. But not PP has no slit. So if this ture then yours should be PP.
