Your telling me that you can buy C63 with $74,052? Im for Japan that is so cheap. You cant buy used C63 with that price.
Here is the price in Japan
C63: 10,600,000 yen so that will be around $120,454
E63: 14,950,000 yen so that will be around $169,886
I knew that everything is expensive in Japan but this much difference is crazy!! You guys are so lucky. I would had extra $$$$ to tune up the car.

i don think i would repaint the car. Too much time and ill have to strip the car all the way down to do the repainting. My father owns an autobody shop so i would get it for free if i wanted to repaint anything.. But i like the silver..

I personally think 75 is a good deal.
I got mine 70 out the door, and I was missing P030 package and carbon fiber trim. While it looks like you are getting yours fully loaded for only 5K more? I'd go for it.

Rule of thumb that I learned. Double the price of the cars in America and you'll get the price of the cars in Japan, Korea and other asian countries. I heard it's the tax that gets you guys.

$74K I think is around Invoice (correct me if I am wrong) which is good but in this market you should be able to bring it to about 5 to 8k lower with ease. If you wish to negotiate even further you should be able to get down to almost 10k below invoice.

I would hope so, Caddy is an American car But gernerally speaking I know most of the cars here are cheaper, I don't know about the prices of Japanese cars in Japan so can't compare the prices, but here generally US is pretty cheap for cars.
Hey Merc-Skycap, I doubt op will be able to negotiate on the pricing for it. Since 2010 models just came out and it's not towards the end of the car year yet. On another note, those options listed seems like it's a order and not off the lot.

That is a little much. An 09 with less than 10K miles on it is going in the 50's range.

If you must have a '10, then get this for $66K: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-2...item1c0e730109

I see you elected the P31 package in your build estimate, with some SLS hardware and other goodies. No used 63 (of any class) is going to have that - so it depends on what's important to you. I'm not sure why people are throwing the "used vs. new" argument in here. For your $75k price range, you could probably pick up a nice CLK63BS or even 996GT2... but they might not be practical for your needs.
All AMGs seem to depreciate like a lead balloon; you have to go eyes-wide-open into the transaction knowing this. Some are willing to pay a premium to get a car optioned exactly how they want... sounds like you may be one of them.
