Problem with my car?? Please read inside
So, I am driving home from upstate NY and im doing about 70mph. I have the car in S mode. I press the gas enough that it downshifts and keep the gas at that position, this is keeping the RPMs right below 3k RPMs, as it accelerates. But, what I start feeling is like a stutter, as I keep my foot in the same position and the RPMs stay the same(barely moving up) the engine seems to be cutting in and out. I looked down at the RPM needle and it slightly moves down and back up. I was maybe thinking this was due to my tires being close to worn out and the combination of 20 degree weather(possible traction problem? but no ESP light). I honestly don't know what it is, but has anybody else experienced this and is this something to be concerned about? Other than that type of driving condition, the car seems to drive great. Also, I recently got a K1 tune, but that was about 300 miles ago.

Hey, I had that stuttering feeling in 5th gear, manual mode doing about 130-140 kph, applied a little throttle and the car started to hesitate and stutter, the dealer told me it was possibly the filters that I had replaced and the computer was trying to recalculate the air flow? Never happened again.

I've noticed in winter driving that ESP does kick in with slight corrections at times without the ESP light blinking, especially at part throttle. That might be it if your tires are gone and the road temps are low.

well, come to think of it, it isnt the traction control/tires/cold, because the ESP light would not come on and also, I noticed that it was a hesitation/stutter, it starts to sputter at that point. Im going to keep my K&N filters and put the charcoals back on.

I didnt do anything, but the dealer insisted it could also be due to the charcoals, give it a try, I also did the reset ecu thing and havent experienced again.

Just wanted to update everyone, i did the reset ecu thing and it's no longer there, smooth now. The ECU/adaptive reset works great, because you can drive it hard and the shifts are very crisp after this.
