About 60 degrees and low humidity. Huge difference from the 80 degree nights of the summer.

Should be fixed, I used a direct upload from the JVC software and the video quality sucks. I will upload the raw HD file when I get a chance.

That was a good run. Nice choice of mods. Simple is good....
Let me know when you want to do it again.

Take care,
Jason

With a 1.785sec. 60ft. time, I'm guessing he's running DRs (drag radials, not street tires). Great ET and trap speed...way to represent the C63 AMG, hhuges1!

My buddy just ran last night @ PBIR in his custom Cobb tuned Nissan GT-R (w/ DPs) and ran 10.6sec. @ 132mph, but to think that your tuned n/a MB C63 AMG is < 1.0sec. behind is pretty good, imho. I still haven't had the opportunity to run, but hoping to run in a couple weeks; I'd be happy to run 12.2sec. @ 115mph in my RENNtech C63 AMG (w/ high-flow 2nd cats and stock everything else) on street tires.

Um, yeah. I'm curious as to what size/brand he's running. M/T, BFG, Nitto all make drag radial tires. I'd love to know what combo the OP went with.

Judging by your sig, "11.449 @ 123.64 mph"... I think we know who won.

Two 2.5" s/s Thunderbolt metal substrate high-flow secondary cats. Sounds pretty much the same as stock, but they're supposed to add ~ + 10-15WHP/TQ (although I didn't dyno after install). I think my next and most likely my last mod will be the BMC high-flow air filters.

I posted the numbers and vids for both cars in the 211 forum under fastest 63's. Swapping cars all day gives new meaning to hot lapping although the 11.44 came on run#2 of a back to back!

Howard,
THANK YOU very much for taking my car out today!! You should have gotten some good seat time driving both back and forth. Wish I could have been there. Thanks again for all your trouble. Hope you got everyone and everything back home again.

Did Cindy give one a try??

Thanks. I'm a fan of the Nittos and will likely look that way for my C. Did that 285 fit on the stock wheel without rubbing?

I found them suprisingly "streetable" in everyday driving. I ran a 305 on my '03 Cobra in the Portland rain for over a year. No issues.

awesome times guys. Im amazed at your 60ft's, i would really like to get mine down there aswell. Hoping once it cools down to head out to the track again. Hughes, did you bring the revs up to 800-1krpm, or did you just mash the pedal when it went green?

thanks

WOOOOOHOOOOO!!

Some great runs in the mighty C63.

Please next tim out do me a HUGE FAVOR and let the car cool. The Car running 11.44 on the second pass tells me there is more in her. Was the 11.59 also run hot lapping? I can see by the splits there is more in both cars

Thanks Juicee, made 5 passes in each car over a 4 hour period. It was a private rental and the track was in great shape. Each car had it's best run(ET & MPH) on run #4 which was hot lapped after #3(second best run ET & MPH). The earlier runs were gapped by 30-40 minutes as was the last. The last runs were off a bit due to temps getting warmer so it was time to call it a day.

Tried both and results were very similiar. If you have DR's then just be sure to think gas pedal first and release brake second and the car seems to load pretty well. Both are happening within milliseconds of each other but think gas first.
