Wow, ouch! I hope nobody was seriously injured. That must have happened at some serious high speeds considering the damage, especially to that front wheel. If there's motor damage (and you will probably never know by looking at it) then it's not even the $18,000 but makes a great car to pick parts off of.

That 11.8 was with a 390rwhp v6.............just imagine a 550-600rwhp v8 in the same 3100lb car. I don't want to get too cocky..........but once the new engine is in and modded as I plan it might just take the top spot for quickest M-B powered car without spray.

I don't know either of them or what they run..............but I'm hoping for mid to low(in perfect conditions) 10's. All of it is hopes right now since I won't even get to start that project until early 2011 and I'm sure someone will be in the 9's by then. If a 4500lb SL can run 10.8 with the same 55k motor/setup that's going in my 1400lb LIGHTER Crossfire........I think mid to low 10's shouldn't be too hard.

Ohh, duh..........I didn't even think of them. Mike is no longer with us and his little Morris has 900hp. Dougie is planning on taking his motor out and twin turboing in to the tune of 1000hp. Basically I still won't stand a chance against either of them.............but I might get a little more respect from the Chevy guys.
