Can you read? I have about $22k in mods that will assist me at the strip! Besides that as I stated already in that $100k figure there are lots of duplicate parts, multiple exus ( over $5000 in MHP tunes I've thrown away). BTW my car is running 11.6's on NOS, that 11.0 is about a year old....so if you look at the number Keith and I have spent similar money on our drag racing relevant mods.
11.6's on NOS????? what happen different, I thought you were running in the low 11's

If we want to nitpick, I recall jrcart swapped out his bolts to titanium, seats were mentioned but not included in price for the 1/4 advantage which they are for lighter weight. Did that carbon fiber drive shaft ever happen and what did that cost?
As long as we are all arguing why not lay it all out. Dad's car seems pretty straightforward without all the odds and ends changed.

Type O , I changed it to 10.7, my quickest is like a 10.698, but it's running pretty consistant 10.75's, laid down 4 back to back to back in less than desirable contions with a positive DA.

Whatever we're tuning!
Just an observation but you may want to wait until you actually have some track results(vids and slips) that confirm both the claimed power from your car as well as driver skill before you inform others that they have not accomplished much. 483whp is way more than any other documented K2 and it should translate into 11.2/11.3 124+mph.
Track results are the only true test and right now you don't have any.

Yes, I have a few ti nuts and bolts on the car, CF drive shaft never worked out, had balancing issues so I kept it off the car, I did not want to run the risk of catestrophic failure. Like I said, I easily have $100k in mods if you want to count every penny I have spent on R & D and misc parts which have since been removed, some of which are sitting in a pile in one of my garages. Seat weight savings are negated by roll bar and racing harnesses. If you guys want to get nit picky I get get nit picky right back. Like I said before, I would love to race keiths car 0-100-0 and back, or see him run it on a raod course LOL
It would be like running an Indy car against a Nascar Cup car![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

About the only thing that might be of interest to you is a carbon fiber Carbonio large capacity airbox and some various types of air filters I have experimented with, K & N and Green. I don't think anything else I have will fit a C63. Make me an offer, it cost $1700 new and was only on my car for about 6 months. I'm out of town so I can't forward you any pics otherwise I would.

Jim,
CONGRATS on your 10 second passes!! That is awsome!!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Thanks for your input and suggestions. We may race someday and that will be fun!! Until then, keep setting the bar lower and lower. Gives me something to strive for.

Actually over $20k for seats and rims...not including tires, but who's counting.
Guys, I'm in vegas and then flying straight to Dallas, don't have reciepts handy but I can give you an approx break down
Evosport LT headers & exhaust about $11k
Evo/PC ecu tune $2k
Airbox/intake mods about $2k
Pulley $1k
Forgeline 17 wheels with MT Street ETs $3k
Evosprt line locker $500
Those are the only mods that really contribute to 1/4 mile performance. If you want to add up all the money I have into the car including dymags, suspension, corner balancing, brake rotors, brake lines, seats multiple ecu's, multiple ecu tunes, multiple airboxes/intakes , roll bar, racing harnesses, NOS system, etc I am at well over $100k in mods, but again most of these mods benefits will never be realized on a drag strip.

Very similar to Keith, who's apparently spent $15k on $19k worth of "list" hardware/software, it appears you've negotiated some preferential pricing as well.
Per evo's CLK63BS catalog, their headers are $8k, exhaust is $4k (so, $12k together), PC tune for an LT car is $3k, airbox/filters $2400, pulley $1k, etc. So, the basic bolt-ons would total at least $18-19k "retail", not counting line locks, wheels, lightweight parts, nitrous kit, etc... just focusing on N/A "power-producing" mods. You probably recognize the car on the cover.

Again, thanks for sharing - it's funny, FWIW I guessed you were probably at $100k+ for total mods. I remember early on when you posted having over $200k in the car + mods (roughly $60k mods), and that was awhile ago.

FYI, the C63 headers are $5995 as we have posted in a few threads.
