I think you're going to need alot of camber ...

This is a 275 pilot sport 4s on 9.5 +56, stock suspension/camber

With ET45 and 275/30 tires you will need lots of neg camber to not rub.
Check what Swedepat said about his fitment with 265/30 and ET45., post #2685

I seen swedepat's post like i was saying ive read all through this thread but no one has mentioned any actual camber numbers. whats a lot of neg camber to you guys though? what are your current numbers? i have adjustable camber arms and am currently sitting at 2.0deg. I can size down to a 265 for sure but im wondering if the 2deg im currently at will be good enough or not to clear

you'll find out when you mount them and go for alignment. Stock is around -2.0 (+/- 0.5deg) so most you see without camber attention and on stock suspension will be at that spec. It will add some more negative camber as the car is lowered.

it also depends on where your camber adjustment comes from. Is from the top hat/camber plate, from a slotted strut on a coilover, is it from tipping the top of the tire inwards or from pushing the bottom of the tire outwards. All of those change the arc of the tire through its suspension travel and make a difference regarding fitment of a wheel/tire that is close to the inside or outside. This is a new car for me and I haven't started doing suspension work so I can't really help with your specifics. I measured an additional 11mm on my current setup and it might be doable but needs some camber or fender work for sure

Good points actually i didnt really think about the other ways to get camber adjustments either but all of my adjustment will be from the camber arm which will just be tipping the top of the wheel in. Current set up is factory wheels with 10mm spacer and 255 mpss. From the wheel calculator and my measurements i would have 1mm of clearance to the inner fender with this new setup and thats on the rear passenger side as thats the tight side as always. Im really hoping i can squeeze this set up in with maybe a small adjustment if needed. The passenger rear is actually -1.9deg and the driver rear is -2deg i wouldnt go over -2.5deg i think im going to try to clear a 275 and report back to everyone. I dont know if the 507s have a little more room or not but i guess ill find out soon enough haha. And if i have to downsize to a 265 then so be it but at least we will have some more info on here for others.

Anyone have a list or know of tires with a more rounded sidewall? I’m not tracking my car, it’s just a weekend car. Biggest priority is no rubbing.

I had some Pirelli p-zero nero on a daily driver before and they were quite rounded, but also did not have acceptable performance for any sort of "fun" driving. If you get proper fitting wheels then tires are not an issue.

19x9.5 +45 is the proper aftermarket wheel size and offset for running oem 255/30/19 tires and getting them more flush with the fender, any 255 should be just fine.

here is an example of one

Life saver, thanks. I couldn't find 255 on +45 offset and didn't know how flush it would be.

Well.... got the wheels and tires on I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. There’s more concavity in the rear than the pics show I thought I was gonna be sad with the lack of but there is the perfect amount in my opinion. You guys weren’t kidding she’s tight in there! There’s zero rubbing though, Here’s the set up

h&r coils all the way down

Vossen wheels & MPSS 4s

245/35/19x9 +38et

275/30/19x9.5 +45et

alignment specs

-1.8deg camber front

-3.9deg camber rear (I know it’s a lot)

.26 total rear toe

Sliiiiightly rolled fenders in rear, No rubbing at all.
Car is equipped with H&R lowering kit -20mm And Bilstein Sprint shocks.
Looks cool. I'm a fan of concave wheels.

Mercedes-Benz CLK 550
W204's – Costly, Premature, Inner Edge Tire Wear.

Tires are expensive – Not only do we manufacture Front upper “Strut mount” adjusters plus Rear “upper arm” adjusters (front separate “Caster” adjustment, Rear with extra “Toe” adjustment).

ALSO FRONT & REAR “LOWER ARM” ADJUSTERS – “EXTRA” POSITIVE ADJUSTMENT
(YET RETAINING IMPORTANT CLEARANCE TOP OF TIRE TO OUTER FENDERS) !!

BOTH KITS PROVIDING UP TO “EXTRA” 1.5 DEGREES POSITIVE (OR NEGATIVE) CAMBER ADJUSTMENT. Include bush extraction tools allowing fitment “without need” for lower arm removal.

1. #502616-1G FRONT KIT EXTRA POSITIVE CAMBER $295 (Both Sides)
(less then the cost of one hi-performance tire).

2. #502616K “ ULTIMATE” POSITIVE CAMBER (& CASTER) $480 (Both Sides)
Caster allows to re adjust after Camber change. Correctly resolves steering pull. KMAC Caster bushes are Mono ball / 2 Axis. Significantly improving brake and steering response (twice load bearing, impact area of spherical bearings that soon pound out).

REAR SUSPENSION (ALSO EXTRA POSITIVE – or Negative)

3. #502226K CAMBER (& EXTRA TOE TO COMPENSATE) $480 (Both Sides)

Both the Front and Rear “Lower arm” kits feature KMAC patented design, precise “single wrench” adjustment system. Accurately (under load) direct on alignment rack.

KMAC has the “experience” of resolving such OEM suspension short comings since 1964.

With KMAC not relabelled imports – but “in-house” manufacture, allowing both total control over quality and rapid, ongoing development. Then competition proving. All enabling to always be at the forefront in the industry. See website “About Us”

It's no wonder nothing comes close re Price, Strength, Ease and Range of adjustment.

Re Front Upper Strut Mounts (see website re unique features).
STAGE 2 – Street / Race #503016-2L $545 (Both Sides)
STAGE 3 – Full Race #503016-3L $545 (Both Sides)

Another popular (rear) kit #502628K $480 (Both Sides)

Replacement “Uprated Bushings” for the '6' multi link rear arms. Less rear end twitch, flex, loss of traction. Especially when applying power to lane change / overtake.

KMAC REAR UPPER ARMS #502226-1M $595 (Both Sides)
(Include "extra Toe" adjustment to compensate for Camber change).
KMAC not soft extruded aluminum but hi-strength forged alloy same as OEM.

Delivery $40 one kit ($20 each extra)

I am assuming the coils will drop the car more than the h&r springs correct? I eventually ending up going with a set of bc forged 19x9.5 +50 for the rear and want to make sure a 275 does not rub lowered on springs.
