Its cold up here in the North. That doesn't stop us from building some heat. I never seen a set of LM's done correctly on a W204. Its time to change that.
New Wheels are 20 x 8.5 ET 36 Front 20 x 9.5 ET 40 Rear. Tires are 225 / 35 / 20 Front and 255 / 30 / 20 rear. OG BBS LM's 100% made in Germany. Mirror polished lips / Forged Hardware / Brushed centers + pockets / OEM BBS Motorsport decals and center caps are being used.

No I do not work for HRE.
I built Benson's set of HRE's and my set of BBS LM's at the same time. A lot of work went into these 2 sets of wheels. Really trying to push the limits on the C63 in terms of sizing / fitment. Best way to find out what works and what doesn't is to try it yourself.
Ben and I have been friends for years, his vision and execution is impeccable. Hence, we ripped apart a set of HRE S101's to make it the way he wanted.

Im playing with tire sizes now, with a fender roll we may be able to get a 265 without rubbing in the rear. Upfront a 235 is possible with a fender roll. These are safe sizes, got to start somewhere. Really its trial and error until we find the right size / combo.
To be honest, I have been running 255's on the rears last season and i had no issues. Im not drag racing, its for daily driving. They are fine IMHO.
Yes I will be putting the HRE's up for sale in the next 2 weeks.

Benson & Kriston are NBA stars lately. LOL
Looking good guys but those rears are aggressive, hope you wont rub.

That's the problem with all these fly by night wheel companies. Not knocking any business, but I have seen way too many horror stories to consider spending any significant amount of money on relatively "no-name" manufacturers.
Quite a few of these smaller manufacturers use third party design / manufacturing companies to build their product. This is not a bad thing, but if they are not ontop of their game; production delays / bad customer service / wheel failures are inevitable.

I also have a problem with companies posting wheels for sale and promoting them in a manner that's not applicable to our cars.
The picture DazzaGT posted is obviously not on a C63. It will inevitably have more concavity then a high offset set, built for the W204.

You know i researched wheels to death and was dead set on forged or nothing, but these flowforged wheels from reputable companies are looking like a better bargain than anything....that or staying stock.
Also for Kriston, maybe I'm a Luddite here but how do you take a set of hre and bbs and then customize them to fit?

Didn't know where else to put this, but hopefully this helps someone out.
Discount Tire Direct (via eBay) is running a $100 off $400 in tire purchases special and it is limited to 3 coupons per person, so you can get $200 off a set of tires if you're in the market. I picked up a set of 245/35/19 and 265/30/19 PSS for around $1000 shipped with tax (less if you don't have to pay tax!). Not too shabby!

If the wheels are multi piece (2 or 3 piece) you can re-configure them by changing the barrels and/or the lips on the wheels to change the offsets / widths etc. Which is what we did to the HRE's and the LM's, in addition to a total over-haul on the finish on both wheels.
