Well that solves my problem....I'm getting new wheels then.
Is there a lot of vibration from the wheels or anything?
Contacted my wheel guy today about Vossens, Vorsteiners, ForgeStars, Niches, and VMR's. Still trying to decide if it's worth it to get the high end wheels on these roads...
Edit: pothole on the way to the gym this morning was large enough to swallow the bottom third of the cone that was marking it...
Niche targa m129, Sizes are 275/30/19 and 245/35/19. I have h&r springs with the 17mm rear spring pad.
Looks great, just to double check - what offsets?
I want the Niche Misano M116's in Anathracite for mine... From reading on this site it looks like I can do 19x8.5 on the front with a +42mm offset and 19x9.5 on the rears with a +50mm offset. Tires are going to be Nittos, 245/35/19 and 275/30/19... Does this sound like it would work? I was pretty sure this was the way to go, but my wheel shop is telling me otherwise...
[QUOTE=homer78749;6655388]I am hoping some of you savants can assist. I bought my C63 used and it came with the wheels below. I now find myself with a stripped wheel lock key and no idea who the manufacturer is and thus no real idea of how to replace the wheel lock key. Any idea who makes these?
Pretty sure those are TSW Interlagos wheels, and almost positive I've seen that car before... In fact I almost bought if not that one, one that looked exactly like it..
Did a shoot last night using light painting.. Looking forward to seeing the results.. Here's a teaser pic the photographer sent. Vertini RF1.1 flow forged in brushed titanium..
I wouldn't do +40 for the rear no matter what.
fronts, +44 will be tucked in, and +38 will be real aggressive, be careful if lowering with that.
thank you for the reply. I am planning on leaving suspension stock. can you elaborate on the rears? these are the measurements im getting from tire rack.
Rear wheels at 9.5 wide need a 45mm offset or more to ensure clearance. In theory an offset of 40mm simply will not work (assuming you do not want to go seriously undersize on rear tyres to try and get clearance).
searching on the forum i've found multiple threads of people using these same wheels and offsets with 255 section tires on the rear and having no issue on stock ride height, so it seems like they will fit? those are all pre facelift sedans though and my car is a 2012 coupe, unsure if there is any change in wheel fitment between the two cars

If after performance, on a 9.5" wide wheel, most people go to a 265 or 275 width tire, that's where issues may occur. I guess if not caring about those things, it won't matter. I'm typically a function / performance first person.

ah i see. yeah i did not consider increasing the tire section beyond OE since I only have a dyno tune and resonator delete in terms of performance increase over stock
It's considered aggressive since it rubs but our rear fenders have no room what so ever. 265's will fit with careful lowering or minimal fender rolling but some work is required.
Before you press the trigger on those, I am selling my set of Super Turismo LM's 19x8.5 +38 / 9.5 +40 in silver for cheap.

ah, I will send a PM. I am not planning to purchase the wheels for another month at least since I just bought a wavetrac LSD this week car is in storage so I am just piling up mods for spring
hi all. what is a better offset for 19x8.5 fronts? 38mm vs 44mm are my options. rears will be 19x9.5 40mm offset
Just installed my 19x8.5 38mm fronts with PSS 235/35/19, and 19x9.5 41mm rears with PSS 265/30/19's. Car is a 2012 P30 coupe, lowered on H&R'S and has lightly rolled rear fenders..
Here is my 2 cents:
-Fronts fit well, but could stand to be a small bit more aggressive maybe 35mm and still be no where near rubbing..
-Rears slightly rub where the bumper meets the rear quarter panel, but only on hard compression like sudden dips at higher speeds, or angling up steep inclines. would definitely go 45 and up especially with no fender rolling..
-A good friend has a 12 coupe and was running 19x10 40mm rears with 275/30/19 PSS's at stock height and was rubbing like crazy.. Just lowered on H&R's, did slight roll on the rear fenders and still had rubbing, but not quite as bad. Milled wheels 3mm to make them 43mm, and the problem completely went away.
HOPE THIS HELPS.. and BTW..Even with no mods, the 255's are way too small for the power our cars put down, would strongly recommend at least 265's.

Looks like the C63 Coupe and the E550 Coupe have very similar wheel offset setups. I'm running 255/35 19x8.5 ET40 front and 285/30 19x9.5 ET45 Rear (Vertini RF1.1 Wheels) with flush fitment and zero rubbing on stock sport suspension. My car is not lowered yet but I should have just enough room to lower with no rubbing issues.

I got mine in the same finish 4 months ago. Glad to see another C63 with Vertini RF1's. They look great on your car.

Yep, I was the one that checked with you on fitment a while back when I was contemplating them.. Thanks man! I love them, have got nothing but good feedback on them, and they're very nice quality for the money.. Wanted something different than the same wheels everybody else gets, and had to be flow forged.. So they fit the bill. Wasn't sure if I'd like the 10 spokes or a different style better on the car so didn't want to spend ADV1 or HRE money (6-10k) only to end up wishing I had gotten a different style.
Ok I am one step away from confirming my order on Niche M130 wheels 19x9.5 with a 50mm offset for rear and 19x8.5 with a 42mm offset for the front. Is this not a safe set of offsets for a 2012 C63 sedan P31? The guy I am ordering from is telling me he things the 42mm offset might not be good. I just want to know what the offsets I need to order are so I can get these wheels in asap.

I am not an expert but this setup sounds safe to me on stock height. I know there are many that are running more aggressive offsets (lower numbers) to achieve a wider stance. you should be fine even if going lowered or wider tires from what I understand.
