Right now my fabrication team is stocking up of 55k headers, We are having a hard time keeping those in stock. So it looks Monday is the day that I will have sets available to ship on the C63 headers.
Its been a long time since I heard someone getting busted for no cats. However that is a State to State issue and my ears only travel so far. For legally reasons these headers are intended for "off road use only" What you choose to do with them is 100% up to you.
Thank you, I've been busting my butt trying to get this project done. So much, it has delayed the official release of other cool project for AMG's. Even ones that only benefit me.

Is installing just the longtube headers optimal or would further exhaust mods be needed to unleash the full potential of the 63?
For example would I also need to change all the piping after the LTs or is it not necessary?
The reason I ask this is because I am thinking of the LTs but I don't want to be doing further extensive modding such as muffler/resonator etc etc.

They sound awesome.
Quick question. Is there any CEL lights produced by installing these headers? Or does the sensor still bolt on and everything is fine once its all installed??
I have a renntech tune and I'm looking to add LT headers, but I can't find an answer if I need that CEL programmed out??

I also have a Renntech tune, will it pair with the LT's? CEL?
OR
I will have to send the ECU to Renntech to have it retuned for LT's?

With that said, it is great to see another promising product out there in the marketplace for us. Good luck!

You guys will probably need to get a reflash after adding LT headers.

I need to say that while I personally think Andy is a sack of **** and a schuyster and this Jim guy was obviously just a schill, I've had a lot of interaction with Dads63 and have to say that he is an upstanding guy without motive. He and I should be mortal enemies for our corporate alignments and yet I've found him to be quite a nice person with a lot of valuable information to contribute. I've reread his initial posts a few times now and think his questions were quite valid. You've entered a forum where several members know more than a little about header design and simply want clarifications on why you've chosen to build yours the way you have.
I would never do business solely on Andy's inexcusable attitude and ****-poor business ethics. Especially having a random "headerguy" come in that pretends he is not aligned with MHP in anyway come and try to hijack MBH's thread. If you look back at any of Andy's previous threads and see any vendor chime in about a product in his threads he raises a hell storm and tells off another vendor (i.e Vadim in the thermalnator thread) not to ever post in his thread. Just inexcusable.
However, Dads63 has been respectful and apologized to keep things back on level ground. Lets just not see you or other vendors sink down to Andy's level by bashing.
Mike, keep up the good work

**cough**
Next time just state that you decided to manufacture the headers with this design because in your opinion its the best design and not make statements like the one above because its not true. You state it like its fact and thats just not the case.
Maybe your design will make power and maybe it won't. Good luck.
At least they are pretty.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

I will say that I sincerely have to apologize to Dads C63. It with the thing with "theheaderguy" it just seemed to me that I was under some form off attack "By the one that I do not speak."
So to Dads C63 I apologize for getting upset and thinking he played a roll in the mess this thread went through.
On a plus not I got dyno numbers! Ranging from bone stock to LT headers only and LT's with a tune.
I will make a thread officially releasing the headers for sale along with the dyno chart. See you in a few

C63 AMG
I used to race 5.0 mustangs and had the Texas Turbo long tube headers (See MM & FF mag Sept. 1994 pg. 82-86). They generated a lot of power and heat and the vibration from the flange at the head required constant tightening of the header bolts. The mustang was not designed well to handle this heat issue. In my 1993 Cobra Mustang I installed ceramic coated shorty headers with h-pipe catalyst delete and could touch the headers while the motor idled/reved. This was great for my daily driver. Now that I have a real car (C63 AMG), I would love to install headers, but they would need to be ceramic coated. Also, the only design I like is the Evosport long tubes due to the smooth curves and individual head connect points. I would purchase today, but I am not in California and do not have a local shop affilliation to help with installation. My C63 is very fast already--beat a WS6 body Firebird 383 stroker that ran 11.6 at the track.
