Dont forget Alonso, Hamilton's best friend in the Ferrari, lots of testosterone this year, Button and Hamilton will cut each others throat as well, ah, finally the competition is alive.

Great, some Formula 1 fans. Thanks for starting this thread! I love F1, and can't wait until March 14th. Right now, 2010 looks promising compared to last year's kind of mediocre season. Schumacher, as always, will be my guy. But I like Vettel as well, and hopefully his car will be more reliable than last year. On paper it seems that Mercedes will have the edge, but I guess we will have to wait until Bahrain. I think there are a lot of talented drivers this season, and hopefully that will translate into some great on track battles.

Hamilton is already smack-talking both Button and Alonso.... just when I thought he was getting older and wiser.... Will he beat them both? Probably. Depends on how good Ferrari's car is this year. I'm pulling for Schumi and Alonso. They have "the fight" in them on the track, but always show class when they're off it.

I am with Hans on this one, I have been a Schumi fan since 1994 with benetton Ford and the 1995 with the Renault, then of course I am a die hard Ferrari fan, yes I am italian so I do bleed red, but I am a huge fan of the sport and all the drivers and teams period...but Schumacher is my guy and Alonso who will be with my favorite team.....Hamilton I never respected as his cocky attitude is always evident, especially now already trashing his teammates and the return of Schumacher, the best driver in the world...no respect, Alonso has lots to prove and Massa I hope will return to form and that the huge crash hasnt scarred him, the young guys coming in this year such Bruno Senna will be interesting...cant wait, I have already booked my Montreal F1 tickets and hotel, thank god its back there....now if they would return the race to the USA, that would be great, hopefully I will get to the Monza race as I will be in Italy this summer.

Have you been to a race in Montreal before? I'm thinking of going as well this year and like to hear your opinion, since you've been to some European venues. I was born in Germany, so it was very easy to go to different tracks. Unfortunately, it's not as convenient anymore from the US. I agree with you , Monza has the best atmosphere of all the races on the F1
calendar. Just a little crazy to get in and out of it. I also like Monte Carlo, because you get closer to the action than any other track. I've been to the season opener in Melbourne in 2003, which in my opinion lacked some of the passion that you experience at other races.
The picture shows how passionate I am about Formula 1..................anyway, thank you in advance

Hey SMP, love the black series, one of my favorites, as far as the MTL F1, I have been going there for about 18 years prior to them shutting it down last year, and the USA race in Indiannapolis, never missed one since its inception. I started going to the F1 races in Canada as where I live (Ottawa) is about 1 1/2 hours away...anyway, you will LOVE Montreal and the lifestyle and women, the race is great as it is on the Island in Montreal which houses the Montreal Casino, it is steaming hot that time of year and if you like to people watch, the women are stunning, there is a reason that the F1 drivers just love this venue. The nightlife and restaurants are impressive, to get to a race in North America, this one is not so far from you. If you are interested, you should start to look for tickets and Hotels as they tend to get occupied pretty quick.....This is an International event, held in a city that is notorius for its european flair, I am 100% sure you wont be dissappointed.

Its going to be wierd to see Schumi driving MB power again. I saw him drive back in the day for AMG in the DTM here in Germany and then drive for Ferrari against his rival Mika Hakkinen. So I guess he is more than less comming home and he will be teaching Rosberg some old tricks of the trade. Also to think that MB will have three world champs driving for them should be a fantastic season.

Thanks Nick, ever since it was used as an F1 Safety Car I wanted one. It's probably my favorite car I've ever owned, and I do have a lot of fun with it. But your car is a very close cousin, and with those wheels, it looks really great!
I'm glad to hear you like the Montreal GP, and coming from someone who goes there for the past 18 years, I'm sure it's a great venue. I'll look into what packages they offer, and like you said, rather quickly before it's sold out. Besides, I've never been to Canada, so I might as well enjoy part of your beautiful country.
Thanks for your reply, and maybe we run into each other at the GP.
