headlight problem

this recently just started. my headlights are mostly always on, even when they are switched off and it doesn't show that the lights are on on the dashboard. anyone else have this problem?

Check your day time running lights setting on your odometer computer. It's under settings.

i leave my enabled and it seems that at night i dont have to turn the lights on... they just come on automatically and turn off a few after the car is shut off. not sure if this is how you are supposed to do it but it works for me.

Make sure that your taillights are on at night, too. I see many people (lots of minivans and Lexuses (Lexi?)) running around with DRLs on at night and no taillights or side markers. With most DRLs (IDK about M-B's), only the head lights are on - nothing else. Its an easy way to get rearended.

mine are on.... but great point!!! i never move the headlight switch from off and they work great. all the lights are on at night (except the fogs) and only the DRLs during the day. seems weird to me but it works....
