Carbon Fiber interior trim in Redmond/Bellevue, WA?

I'm getting ready to order my C63 and would love to actually see an interior (Black leather) with the carbon fiber trim.

Anyone here have such a car and live in or around Redmond/Bellevue who'd be willing to meet up to show off your car? I'll buy you a latte...

PM me.

I would but I'm out of town. I have the black leather and cf trim, and I highly recommend it. If you'd rather save the 2,500, you can actually do the trim yourself aftermarket. I forget the company but they sell cf trim, think it's a fabric, that you adhere to your trim pieces, a few hundred overall I think. Either way it's better than the wood trim..

A fellow Washingtonian! I would save the $2500 (plus tax) and get it vinyl wrapped or CF wrapped aftermarket. $2500 (plus tax) is much too excessive for 4 pieces of plastic that looks like CF.

It's 9 pieces BTW. OP, you really need to see it in person. It makes the alu trim look like cheap s**t. Expensive...maybe a little...but worth every penny to me.

Ahh, I see... I do agree that the aluminum trim looks downright cheap. I was going to get the CF trim, but couldn't justify paying that much for what seems like, to me, a few small pieces of CF--even if it looks the best out of all the trims. So, I got the black maple.

I have the carbon fiber trim and it is absolutely stunning in person.
I can't tell you how many people have complimented me about
it so far.

My first choice was the black maple until I saw the carbon fiber.

And I've seen the carbon fiber wrapping in person and it is nowhere
near the quality of OEM, at least to me.

To each is own.

It's beautiful stuff, very three-dimensional in appearance with a "two-tonish" effect due to the depth of the weave. And half the price Porsche charges...

Agreed.

Initially, the $2500 dollar adder turned me off until I saw it.

Adding the shift knob soon.

Well, I do agree that the OEM CF is nice, I would probably order that if they had it during the price-cut a few months back (I got the last Black w/PP & Maple). Now I have the CF wrapping, yes, not as pretty as the OEM CF but I saved $2300 I think it just isn't all that bad. I used some of that money saved for the ECU Flash and the Eurotech CF front & diffusor (and still have $$ left over)

Thank you guys (esp for the great high-res pics). I still want to see (either) in person and won't be ordering for a few weeks so...

Cheers.

It looks awesome for after market! Did you remove the strips on the doors to wrap them or did you just wrap them the best you could with them still on the door panels. I saw the other post on how to take them off and it seemed like a pain!

CF trim

I got mine from DCT who are the forums. See attached pics attached here
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ml#post4102360

Ivan is the contact at DCT and they are 1st class to deal with. My trim was cheaper than OEM price by alot.

The shifter is from http://formymercedes.com/mb_results....ry=Shift Knobs
Jerry there is a great guy
