I am getting my Drexler LSD installed by Ramspeed in Seven Hills whom i bought from. I have done some reasonable due diligence on these guys and bought products off them before and am satisfied. Give Thomas Ullman a call and tell him Ben sent you!

an LSD is a future mod for me. I dont really have any issues as much as you guys do. Interesting, it may be our driving differences. Either way, a LSD should be standard on these cars.

Does anyone have any info on Bavaria cars or any other reputable diff installers, that can install the Drexler and are 100% trust worthy. I've never done an aftermarket mod and im hesitant...with my new baby (actually i call her a tart until i get the diff installed).
Cheers

Another one for Sonny @ Marrano’s. I know he’s been doing Quaife’s for the C63, I don’t know about the Drexler. He has a great reputation in the performance car world and lives and breathes Mercs. He’s a forum sponsor and worth a call if nothing else.

So has anybody tried the Kleeman or Quaife LSD on the C63. I knew it was missing when I purchased but it was too difficult to get the option so I planned to purchase one, just haven't decided on which.

CLK63, CLK 55 kleemann, Nissan GTR N1
For your info:
I have installed the quaife QDF9V which is the 12 bolt crown wheel with 30 spline axle shafts into a CLK63 and a C55. These were made by Quaife originally for the later model E55s.
I have installed the Quaife QDF7V which is a 10 bolt crown wheel with 27 spline axle shafts into a 03 CLK500. The QDF7V was originally for the E55 MY 2000- 2002.
OS Giken from experience make very good multi plate type diffs which lock up very well but I found them very noisy prior to locking up. OS Giken are saying that the new type multi plate diff has very smooth and quiet transition too 100% lock up. I will definitely be using the OS Giken next time.

I have driven mine with and without a LSD, and the LSD is needed on the street as well as the track.

I have the Kleemann LSD and for my application (W210) it works out fine.
Before, without the LSD i was just spinning tires and after i got it i'm now spinning less tires. But i think the way to go is either Quaife or OS Giken. Can't go wrong with either as i've only heard good things about them.
