C63 runs 11.6 @ 125.3 MPH
I ran the RENNtech C63 the other night in the ACR, the C63 ran 11.6 @ 125.3 MPH, I was going for the launch and couldn't catch the C63 in time...

Looks like you cut a better 60'/ET on Nitto NT05s a year ago. -> http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...lip-17712.html

What are the mods on the RENNTECH?
What tires were you using? DR or street tires?
How do you guys launch the car? ESP completely off? I tried a few times and I am getting major wheelspin if I power brake even up to 1K.
Do you just hold the brakes without pressing the accelerator and "gently" feather the throttle to hook up that good.
Mashing the throttle quickly is just a recipe to vaporizing tire tread?
Excuse the questions if they appear rather newbish but I only had my C63 for a few months and would not want to dissapoint once I am at a light with a competitor

I called them today to ask abt this exact car they said it have shorty headers,intake,tune,82mm throttles they will offer them for sale next month and some light weight wheels and O.S limited slip...

Lol I said the same the same thing when I first saw the slip. Then I saw the driver listed on dragtimes and didn't want to say anything

RennTech is one of the great tuners out there and they've been doing amazing things for the 63 lately....

I thought it was somewhat established that the 63 doesn't need larger throttle bodies though? I dunno, I mean nothing can argue with that trap speed...I'm impressed! But at the same time, I don't know if weather alone can be responsible for the huge gain in trap?

U know beter then me but I would think a car traping 125 should be alot faster in time then what he got. What u think the nittos did him dirty lol

I ran 13.0 @ 109 mph in bad weater and also ran 12.1 @ 118.9 in great weather in the same exact car, same exact driver, same exact gas, etc.... So to answer your question, weather has a lot to do with it especially for naturally aspirated cars.

Well I ran a 10.6 @ 125. It should be quicker with a trap like that. Did you see who the driver was? Hartmut, the owner of Renntech. Could be the tires, I dunno

I am wondering if the larger TB's mechanically lean the air/fuel ratio. Most every tune that I have seen other than MKB maintains a semi rich ~12 af erring on the side of forgiveness over maximum power.
