Meanwhile , I've been searching for a COMMAND carbon overlay but no luck on this. Only the COMMAND plastic frame in carbon , or at least a frame that I could wrap with 3M carbon.

I am number one hater of wood interiors. If you like wood interiors buy a british car from the 40-50-60-70-80's. The heat and the moisture destory the wood interiors and after a few years don't look good at all.

CF trim is one of my favorite parts on my car along with cf seat backs. I'd do it all over again.

I have to say, the carbon fiber trim is very trendy, but i have this feeling that you will all be explaining the carbon fiber in your car to someone, in about 5 years, as something that was the trend at the time. What are you getting? Fake carbon fiber, that saves nearly no weight. Carbon fiber saves weight in cycling (my bike weighs 15 pounds because of it), but your silly carbon interior does nothing but look like a trend. Sorry, but it needed to be said, since you guys seem intent on insulting my beautiful wood interior. Guess what interior was in cars 20, 40, 60 years ago, and still is today? Beautiful wood, not a trend like carbon fiber. Yeah, remember a few years ago when they were putting brushed illuminum in the interiors? The guys with those cars are now hating it, and explaining to people, "it was cool in 2003."

A classy wood finish in a car that is fast as ***** is just *** stylish. A carbon fiber finish is, sorry, just a trend. In a few years we'll be saying, remember when all the interiors were carbon fiber?

by the way, a quality wood interior in a mercedes is not going to give in to moisture. What moisture? the rain and fog build up in the car? if you car is garaged, and if you have a mercedes if *** should be, the wood will look as good today as it does in 10 years. paaaaallllleeeeeaaaasssseee
