Whats better: BF Goodrich T/A KDW NT or Michelin Pilot sport?
Hello everyone, I am new here and its time to change my tires; a very common thing for the C63. I was just gonna go to the dealer to get the regular michelin pilot sports, but my neighbor who has an M5 tells me to get BF Goodrich G-force. The tread pattern on the BF goodrich tires look pretty sick, but I do not know BF goodrich tires that good. What do you guys recommend? thanks a lot, much appreciated.

I didn't know about these until recently, but my tire guy swears by hankook v12. He even says some of his porsche guys are trading in their ps2 for this tire.

First of all search is your friend
Secondly, as I have said before "Friends don't let friends buy Michelin's"
There are SO many tires out there that are cheaper, last longer and run circles around Michelin's at the track that I can't even shake a stick out.
Guys GROW up and think OUTSIDE the box. Manufacturers make deals with other manufactures, aka tires. This does not mean by any way shape or form that the are the BEST deals for the consumer.
For the last time, in order of grip on a ROAD circuit:
1. Bridgestone 050 PP's
2. Goodyear GS-D3, BEST all around tire made for rain and longevity, IMHO
3. Insert MANY others here including the PS2's.
4. Yok S1000 Nitto 555. GREAT tires for the money
5. Kuhmos, but require frequent balancing.
Good luck

My C63 came with Pirelli P zeros, after that set they put michelins on it because they said that the Pirellis have been having bad rep lately; thats what the dealers said anyways. Much appreciated all the info everyone, thanks a lot.

for the money, bf-goodrich gforce's are tough to beat. for my audi, they are $125 on tirerack and have the best grip of toyos and conti 2's that ive had... low noise and good life (on awd anyway lol)

The Pirelli P Zero is a decent tire as far as ride and performance, but I've never had a tire that had such horrible tread life. I have the Prestige and Sport packages on my 2010 Audi A4 which came with 255/35/19 Pzero's and with 4,000 miles of commuting (not sport driving, thats why I have my C63) I'm already seeing a lot of wear on them also. I'm taking that out to Sears Point on the 28th and I'm sure the drive home from there will be their final voyage.

get the Michelins, you wont be happy with the BFGs. I seen people with BMWs that put them on and a week later they put the Michelins on cause the BFGs make a lot of road noise and have a hard ride. Michelins is your best bet

I've had the BFG NTs on my 911 and an STIs before. The C&D review is very accurate. They do have a softer sidewall and feel 'sloppy' cornering at limit. Treadwear was really good after several hard trackday sessions.
I'd pass on them because they just don't feel responsive enough.
