We have come to the point of now honoring this guy...

I have got Geico. They are really nice on the phone but I have heard some stories of lack of service once you do need them...
Don't have a C63, but I can also vouch for State Farm.
Parents have been with them for over 20 years, and I picked up my own policy through them a few months ago when I got my own MB. As the poster above me said, they aren't the cheapest but they'll definitely take care of you--our family has filed a fair amount of claims with them and they have never taken advantage of us, great communication and customer service.

My State Farm agent has been very personable and when I did have to file a claim, it was hassle free.
State Farm here as well. Been with them for over 15 yrs. Home, Auto, Personal Articles, etc. I think I pay between $80-90 per month for the Merc. 38 yrs old, married, excellent credit and a perfect driving record:-)
state farm...all our family's insurance covered by them...
house was flooded once while we were out of country, and even before we were back home they were helping us get started on the clean up process
like they said, not cheap, but you pay for them to be there

Wow. Good enough for me. Seems like everyone has State farm. I think I might switch in a couple of weeks.
I have excellent credit and no tickets but 2 minor accidents.
Let's see what they say...
Thanks for the advice guys.

I'm terribly sorry...
But I have to say...
You.. no offense Americans, Have very reasonable and fair insurance companies in the world. Lucky you!!!
For example: My last bill dated 12/12/09 for my wifes 05 CLS 500 for the 1/2 year of 2010 coast me USD 2.450 And this car has NO claims from the beginning.
Plus I installed a satelitte alarm (usd 3k) and additional stuff (usd 1.5k) that was required by the insurrence company.
PS My wife has a 18 year old driving experience

geico here...
One claim went in about 7 years ago wen someone hit me and took off. Geico cut me a check for 5k the next day. When the body shop needed more, they cut them the supplemental check directly - and my premium actually went down that following year.
3 years later they called me to tell me they were closing the case, I guess they had left it open in hopes of catching the scummer that hit me.
I have full coverage for $1100 a year (1000 deductible though - figure any work worth claiming will be way more than that on a benzo)

I have been with State Farm for 7 years or so and they have been great to deal with and saved us a bundle with support for a court case when my wife's car was hit by another car and the guy thought he would sue us. We were judged not to be guilty of a traffic infraction. The other driver did not proceed with his suit.
I called about rates on the C63 and they had no problem insuring it at a reasonable price. The car is in a high premium bracket but the rates are still reasonable and deductibles 500 collision/100 comprehensive are also reasonable.
State Farm is great.

I use AAA, but I have a group deal with my Audi and home owners insurance.

I remember when I was a kid my parents had Wawanesa in San Diego and they were considered the Cadillac of Insurance Companies. They only took squeeky clean drivers. Then my brother had a bad accident and they dropped us like an old cigarette butt. But they are considered the BEST.
But what you wrote about Geico is good stuff considering a couple stories I read about not paying out and not providing good repair spots.
But I am liking what I hear about State Farm. Gonna call then and compare.

State Farm for over 20 years and no issues!! As others have said, not the cheapest, but have never once had a problem making a claim.

My family's had State Farm for 15+ years through 7 MBs, 1 frozen / burst pipe, and they have been there quickly and effectively for every issue.
State Farm originally offered $200 (monthly) for 2 cars, including C63, driven daily in Waterloo, Ontario. But as soon as they got my driving record with violation - 10 km/h above speed limit, their quote almost doubled. Stay away from them.
My insurer is Cooperators with $214, they ignored my violation.

I agree with most that State Farm is not the cheapest but great service. Had them before but they dropped me about 10 years becuase of 2 accidents (both claims were minor, under 20K). I seem to be the only one with Progressive Insurance.
500K limits with a 1,000 deductible and I pay $325 every 6 months.
