05 ML-500 , 03 CLK5.5 AMG has left the Garage
CLK5.5 Against Dads C-63
Well I met up with Keith and his Crew last night at Palm Bch Inter Raceway.
Let me start , It has been 3 1/2 years since I was at the Drags, and I needed at TUNE UP
My reaction Times improved , as did my ETs. as the night bore on. The track was preped good , the air temp was dropping 51*f , there was a strong cross winds, I dropped the rear tire pressure , the launch got better. & Guess who Shows Up to help out. Rflow306 (Albert) & Willie . Way Kool.
Well My last run of the night, Keith's son & I some how pair up. I dusted tire Tires , Flashed the T/Q conv. Stalled the motor ( Talk about nerves ) restart the motor ,Line up. Lights come down Keith's son Red lights, I come out hooked up & hard I get by the C-63. I cann't see him , but boy I can here him Coming!! The1/8 mile goes by and he is coming hard. I now see him. to the right of me and he is moving by nicely. He put about 3 cars on me at the end. By God , that car is Damn fast

It was great meeting up with you again. Your car is in incredible condition. Its definitely a show car and runs GREAT!! I really thought you had me on that run. That wasn't my son driving but I know he wishes it was. That was Ben, he works with me and drives the car alot. I like to watch it race and I'm lucky enough to have him around to drive it and drive it well. In due time my boys will be driving it I'm sure.

You know what would make this thread better?
MBH Tri-Y Headers! They'll make your thread gain posts faster as proven elsewhere on the forum and because they're larger diameter than is absolutely necessary they'll do other **** better too, I think. Maybe. I dunno.
Just saying...
And they're CAD designed or something something something.

No offense, but you all should be banned or suspended for giving the C63 a bad rep. Acting like kids, arguing, who gets the last word, this is supposed to be for enthusiasts. Be as objective as possible and move on, we all look bad in the end like our m3 competitor.

My car is a full Kleemann Blower set up , with their older Big tube style mid length headers , Random Tech 200 Cell cats & a single full lenght exhaust . PTE Cams & Ported heads. Cheers _PTEngineering
