Congrats on the car!
I was in a similar position, choosing between an 09 e92 M3 and the 09 C63. Ended up choosing the AMG, and love every second of it! The M3 is an amazing machine, no doubt, but the C63 is just MONSTROUS. It has certain qualities that the M3 just doesn't have, atleast for me. The AMG is my first car too, already put 7K miles on it after 6 months.
Enjoy your car!
P.S: Get those orange side markers changed/painted/covered ASAP!

Good going on the cars! What a car for a first car !
My first car was a used B122 Volvo with 65000 miles on it. I loved that car it gave me great freedom at university. I completely wore out the engine in a year and a half and 35000 miles.
Drive safe.

IMHO, I wouldn't waste money buying a separate set of side markers that are smoked or clear or whatever.
Yesterday, I took out the stock orange side markers on my car and wrapped it with 3M DI-NOC carbon fiber vinyl, and let me tell you, it looks AMAZING. And I mean better than the smoked/clear markers, at least in my opinion. Of course, you could paint them, but then you'd have to get some color-matched paint or buy another set of color-matched markers.
The vinyl looks great and is simple to get on if you're a little patient, using an X-ACTO knife and a hair dryer. Check out this thread for pics on how it looks: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-cf-vinyl.html

It's not too hard, just requires a little bit of finesse. Pop the hood and feel along the inside edge where your reflectors are. You should feel the bulb housing and a little push tab right above it. Push that down and push it out a bit. You'll have to wiggle it around a bit but eventually you'll get it to come out. The bulb will be connected so be careful since you don't want to just roughly yank it out, you'll pull the wires of the bulb out with it if you do that. Once you pop out the reflectors a bit, just twist the bulb and it'll come right out. Rinse and repeat on the other side. It's pretty easy. It's the first mod I did...ever. It's pretty simple.
