Just noticed that the lower middle grille has suffered irreparable damage (probably due to road debris on the Fla. Turnpike). Does anyone have a DIY or have any idea how to remove/replace it? I priced out a new grille and they are relatively inexpensive but wonder how much labor is involved. Any information/assistance is much appreciated.

Bumper has to come off and be disassembled.. The grill keys in from the rear and over laps alot so is all got to be taking apart

Sorry for the damage. I would not DIY unless you know the disassembly of it all. I would let dealer or good body shop with experience and reputation do it.

Mine too got a huge hole the size of a fist in it. Probably from a rock or something. Its being replaced this week. Front bumper has to come off. Good time to install a laser jammer kit.

Mind letting me know what you're being charged for labor? The grill runs about $45 but suspect the labor won't be anywhere near as reasonable.

And just one more question: Could someone tell me why the Tow Eye Cap costs like $30 ? And I presume it doesn't come painted either.

I checked the MB EPC system and it looks like the tow hook cap comes unpainted. I concluded this by checking the side rear-view mirrors which do indicate that hey are factory painted. Maybe Evosport, since they paint the side reflectors for US cars in the factory colors, can paint it for you at a reasonable price.
