Renntech - Didn't Show at TOP GUN RUN Mile Event!
Anyone know why Renntech didn't show up for the Top Gun Run in Florida?
They were listed as a paid Participant..
Aren't they from Florida anyway?

Fyi, Emeric...Nah, I really don't think they care -- they know what mods Keith's car has and how fast it is.
You have to understand that Hartmut and the guys @ RENNtech have built up an excellent reputation over many years, and their business isn't losing all that much from competitors like MHP and others. Although competition in the marketplace is always good for the consumer, MHP is still relatively new to MB AMG. On the other hand, the RENNtech name is a well recognized one and well respected among the MB AMG and other sports car enthusiasts -- so much so that even many MB dealers are okay with doing warranty related repairs on RENNtech cars; some dealers actually install the RENNtech ecu flashes and parts.

No problem, thanks for all answering all my questions. If I had been closer, I would have probably gone with Renntech. Their reputation and dedication to excellence is well known even on the slower coast lol.
I was just too cheap and went with Eurocharged. Their tune was obviously not as good as MHP as I was about 4mph slower. The only difference with raleighc63 is that he had taken out his spare and the filters but I seriously doubt this made a huge difference (we both had Michelin PS2).
How are your michelin tires doing by the way. I am due soon for some tires and would love some feedback as I am all for getting a warranty.

PS2's are the best...awesome grip. They lasted 19k mi....on my tuned BMW 335i, but on the C63 AMG...I'm guessing you'll be needing new rear tires after ~ 7k mi.
