Laser Jammer
I told him i havent had time to remove it, so he arrested me for obstructing or preventing a policeman's job or some bull****...
needless to say, i was pissed, called a lawyer, and it got thrown up upon my removal of the device.
The reason a 'radar jammer' is illegal is obvious, but a infrared light jammer is retarded. But whatever, was fun while it lasted
How fast were you going? What was the story the first time when you got the warning? How many times did the jammer prevented you for getting a ticket?

also correct me if im wrong but once you "jam" a laser signal you have to turn the jammer off correct? or the officer will know your messing with his signal which is a ticketable offense in itself no?

Apart from those trying to sell the equipment I have never read or heard of any proof that any jammer - passive or active - actually works. A laser beam does not just paint, or illuminate, the front part of your grill or bumper. Figure that your car is travelling at 70 mph and it's attitude on three dimensions is constantly changing - elevation, speed, lateral direction etc. The laser beam will reflect from several different surfaces of your car in a blink of an eye. For a scrambler to work you would probably need to affix transponders all over the front of your car. I mean you are talking about a form of stealth technology that can confuse or defeat LIDAR for under a thousand bucks. If this is possible than it is pretty damn amazing.
All in all I would say save your money or donate it to your local law enforement charity and get one of those window decals. From everything I have seen that is the best way to defeat a speeding ticket.

Radar jammers, like those from the Rocky Mountain Radar company, do not work.
A top-brand laser jammer, like the LI or Blinder, will work very well.
Check out the Laser Countermeasures forums on radardetector.net. Spend some getting learning how this stuff works, read some reviews, check out some independent tests, etc. There is a lot of data there. (That site is actually owned by the same "Radar Roy" that owns the radar jammer site you linked to above.)

I will check it out and gain what I can. Perhaps it will change my opinion that Laser Jammers are ineffective and a scam. I have fallen for it in the past and have had this discussion with some of my peers in the army. As you can imagine, having a device that confuses lasers would be pretty disconcerting and would confound our ability to designate targets and relay information on the battlefield.
Anyhow, I will defer to the experts at "Click and Clack," for whom I have posted the question as to the viability of passive laser jammers. If I get a response I will post it.
I appreciate the forum and I learn something everytime I am on here.
they use alot of laser gun.
